    Have tried to 'search' for an answer, but other random junk keeps interfering. Where's the option to upload an avatar hiding? Do you need to have a certain number of posts, or am I just blinded by thirty hours of no sleep?

    You have been blinded by 30 hours of no sleep and huge faggotry. See the hyperlink that says User CP? It is not, in fact, DLP endorsed self-shot Child Pornography. It is your Control Panel, wherein you can change a great number of things. Click on that, and on the new page is another link on your left that says Edit Profile Picture.
