ANYWAY, here is a new game of mafia enjoy it's awesome and amazing and all those good things.

Roles reveal on death (unless they don't), hidden setup, 23 players and SHENANIGANS.

ALSO, there are VANILLA roles (ie: powerless) in this game. If you are incapable of having fun/participating when having a vanilla role, then don't sign (although you should have fun anyway!)

I want to start this game in the first week of January, probably.

RULES/SETUP GUIDELINES

1. Massclaims are not advised. They will not help town.

2. Days will be up to 72 hours (3 days) long. Nights will be NO MORE than 48 hours (2 days) - if all actions are in, day/night will start/end early.

3. When voting, you must bold your votes and put them on a seperate line! Deadline votes are a thing. There is no predefined voting format so long as there is a distinction between deadline and normal votes.

3a. All votes are Majority (half+1) unless stated otherwise.

4. Night actions/day actions other than lynching will be done via private QT unless stated otherwise.

5. No editing or deleting posts, or I may be forced to modkill you. Edit via the way of another post.

6. Don't speak about the game with anyone else in the game anywhere other than this thread, unless you are specifically allowed to do so by the moderator.

7. You may not post in the thread at night. Depending on the circumstances, this may result in a modkill.

8. Every player has to make at least one post per ingame day. If you can't make a post on that day, then you must say so to me beforehand, else I will get someone to replace you.

8 AGAIN. 1 post per day is all you need to do. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a replacement (unless you tell me that you're unable to post for period X). Ideally, you will post more actively than the bare minimum.

9. Play to your win condition, and play to have fun. Always.

10. No faking day-activations of anything, on pain of modkill. There may or may not be day powers! This means do not attempt to USE day activations you do not have. That said, you may claim to have them as much as you like.

10a. If someone uses a public day-time power, the day is paused until I am able to resolve it (this means do not post). If necessary, an extension will be given to make up for lost time.

12. Don't copy/paste private communications from the Moderator.

13. Be nice! This is a game and people are playing to have fun.

Anyway. Kai asked me to review the rules and roles, and after giving it a five minute looksie (that's about five minutes longer than a cursory glance so you guys know it's srsbzns), it all checks out.

So, this is my stamp of approval in terms of game mechanics and whatnot.

P.S. Actually, I spent a good half hour going over the rules and made a fair few suggestions.
P.P.S. I expect Kai to be kissing my ass until the end of time for agreeing to approve his rules in the thread so people don't hate on it.
