    Does anyone know of any fics where Dumbledore is very badass like in Shezza's Denarian series or the Hero trilogy fics? The fic doesn't have to be Dumbledore-centric, but I'd love any where he plays an active role in the story. Probably sure there is a thread like this somewhere, but my search yielded very little.

    Thanks for the move. I'm fairly new and I don't have a good idea of where to post inquiries and such. I'll be more careful next time. Still, no need to be so mad about it.

    This is what you're looking for... The Warlock's Apprentice by PhantomFool. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated in 14 months, but it gave me a Dumbledore I could like.

    Badass Dumbledore? Hmm. I'm assuming you mean *other* than the one in canon... I mean, do you remember in Snape's memories, when Dumbledore shows up pretty much in a flash of lightning?? Fucking Bad. Ass.

    Anyway, as for fanfics. I'd agree with some of the above examples. I'd also add enembee's version of Dumbledore in By the Divining Light and it's sequel.

    Man. I'm having more trouble coming up with more, at least off the top of my head. No, wait. The Dumbledore in Hallowed is a serious badass, as is the version in Taure's far-too-short uber-AU, the name of which escapes me at the moment.

    Just finished the Warlock's Apprentice. Very interesting and it certainly gave me a badass, if slightly crazy Dumbledore. Oh but wait, Dumbledore is supposed to be loony.
