I want to know what type of classical music is featured in this fragment of Aveyond's soundtrack.

Starts at 17:02, link is to that moment.

I've been searching on youtube for a long time now, typing in "dark classical music", "gothic classical music", "vampire classical music" and a lot of other variations, but with no success yet.

Also, let this be a thread for help in identifying all things musical :)

It's been years since I last had to pay attention to this kind of thing, but to my rusty ear that sounds more like baroque than classical. Maybe something like this?

Searching for chamber music would get you closer too, by filtering out all the full orchestras. You could also try searching for fugue, but that could be completely the wrong word. Can't remember if that means 'spooky bullshit' or not.

I think I hear a harpsichord, which by itself would put it before 1800. So ElDee is on the right track; to my ears it does sound quite baroque. I don't think chamber music is the way to go, though, since that term wasn't really defined back then. Possibly try trio sonata, or even concerto grosso, e.g. by Bach or Corelli.
