I lived in my mind but I lost my key.
Summary: Post GoF. I Defeated Lord Voldemort after a long and brutal struggle involving many battles and loss of life. This is my Story.

Think of how Final Fantasy X starts out with Tidus telling the story up to where they are.

    Rules
    Independent Harry
Harry is not a baboon he has brains and a backbone.
Neville is not thrown away DH had Neville as a badass.
Grey Harry not dark or light
Harry isnt a weakling nor he is the next Merlin but by the end he should be capable of holding his on against just about anyone like in Shezza's Resistance of Azkaban.

I just felt like reading a fic like this if someone wants to do it.

This isn't really a challenge. This is a brief summary of most stories in the Independant Harry section. So, in the Neville idea, how is he not thrown away? Is he one of Harry's lieutenants? Is he on the Dark Lord's side? Is he going to be trained by Mad Eye (assuming this is Post GOF not DH) after Mad Eye's trunk incident?

If you add in more detail and make it unique, it could work. As is... Look at KenderCleric's stuff. He's done enough, and all are good.
