Nor should it be. It's not a great work by any measure, and if I was perfectly honest it should probably be in the Recycling Bin. It was decent for the time, but HP fanfiction has had the bar raised quite a bit. My literary skills just cannot compete to the likes of the heavy caliber authors DLP enjoys today.

That being said I've been writing on it a bit. :)

Yey massive necro. That said, we're currently just under 1600 members. Another 76 and we make #2 in the overall ranking of things.

Then comes hardmode, 552 members will take us to #1.

For what its worth, you guys are already heroes in my eyes. It has taken us a couple of months to achieve what it has taken other C2s at our level years to achieve.

In the spirit of how awesome we are, I will make the following miscellaneous observations and calculations:

    - In 78 days we've had 1593 subscribers.

    - That's nearly equivalent to 1 an hour.

    - Or 20 a day.

    - Or larger than the birth rates of Lichtenstein, the Cook Islands, San Marino, Andorra or Cyprus for 2008. (Not to mention the 9 other countries I didn't mention.)

    - On the topic of countries, we've got more subscribers than the Pitcairn Islands, Vatican City and Tokelau have people.

    - Back on the subject of fanfiction; we've got about 700-1700 less stories in our archive than any of the other C2s in the Top 5, which I can't help but think is a good thing.

    - We've had the fastest expansion rate of any C2 in any genre, ever.

    - We're the 5th biggest C2 on all of FFNet. Of those with higher subscriber counts than us there are two Twilight C2s; one called 'Graphic Lemons', of the other two, one is a Severitus community. I feel we're arguably ranked #2 on these facts alone.

    - We're fucking DLP and we're awesome.
    So, I'll say this a final time before taking a permanent backseat on the promotion side of things;

    MOAR, WE NEED MOAR!

    Good job DLP!

Agreed on the awesome. I try and advertise where ever I can, as do a lot of other DLPers, but I do have something that's bugged me for a while.

That second with just hits me the wrong way. I am a complete nazi for asking you this, but could you change that to a bloody and? Please......

I'm kind of curious why a community like "Graphic Lemons" is allowed to exist on a site that had a freak out over NC-17 material and deleted all instances of sex.

Perhaps it has something to do with being full of Twilight?

They probably draw a good amount of traffic to the site, and I bet a bank that the overwhelming majority of Twilighters don't adblock - hell, they probably enjoy clicking the ads.

It's only a very real fear of you lot finding out (and you would, no doubt) that's kept me from making a Twilight fansite to capitalize on the potential profit.

It's not that kind of lemon. These are stories that are absolute shit. The kind they'd make laws against if you were actually paying to read them.

As such, 99.999% of FFN's stories are in it. :awesome

    Or not...

Oh, and the admins, in all likelihood, have their hypocritical collective head up their dark and cavernous collective arse. It's amazing how many adult/adult het stories go down in flames to the admins' delete key, while the underage boy/adult male stories thrive. Apparently the FFN server is located at the end of a wormhole that opens to ancient Greece.

I'm of the opinion that the FF 'admins' don't exist. There is only one, his name is Nero and he's Emperor.

Hm... I've got a couple of extra emails around used for specific purposes plus an extra account that I didn't use to suscribe to the C2. You want me to create accounts off them/suscribe? I mean I've already suscribed with one account...

It was a while back, but I think it was decided in this thread that it's better to not multi-subscribe, lest it get the attention of any FF mods. (plus it's better to dominate the old fashioned way: with lots of hard work and badassery)

Good to know. My main account is full of horrible writing I'd like to keep away from DLP's judging eyes. :awesome

... Not really. Just a list of favorites and a couple of one-shots.

Outrageous! DLP C2 dropped to a third place. Severitus once again on a second place. People have no taste whatsoever.
