    General Announcement:
Gencon is coming up again. Gencon is a four day board games convention in Indianapolis, taking place from August 17-20th. It has a section devoted to mafia, from 4pm to 2am every day, so if you're like me and Von, you can end up playing 40 hours of mafia. Chocolate PI, creator of our glorious witchhunt, will also be there running games and hitting up Steak n Shake at 4am.

Von and I will probably be there, and will likely drive in from DC. If you're going, or if you're along the route we'd be taking and you want a ride, let us know. We also can also offer advise on some cheap places to stay in the area.

    Save money!

Mafia games stop running after the 19th, so we could totally get you to where you need to be.

Out of curiosity, how much would you have to save?

    The four-day pass is $90.

There's about 80 days until GenCon, so a little over a dollar per day.

    Easy.

We'd probably stick to fast food. If it's just you, I can see if Cron's willing to have another person stay at his place. Also, some gas money if we're driving you would be nice.

If I can come up with a theme, more than willing to host the next game.

If there's enough interest I'd like to host/co-host a closed setup with similar complexity to American Gods. Players when signing up would privately submit the role name they want based on a broad theme (e.g. Disney characters), then the mod(s) would design the actual setup from there. Either alignments would be randomized upfront or the submissions would go to, like, Eido initially and then just the role names would be passed on to remove who-submitted-what bias.

Well, I do like games. 7/5 would sign up for things.

Also, are none of you reading G6? I only saw Eido in spectator chat on Discord for a little bit and noone else. Who am I gonna talk to about the game?
