It's really quite a bit better than the summary makes it sound. In all actuality, it's closer to being an original fiction, except it takes elements from so many other stories. Quite funny and over the top.

 

Black Dragon paces his stories just like Rumiko Takahashi, as in while events take place very little changes in the way of characters. Funny things happen - but this story just goes on and on and on and on.

It was impressive that I could enjoy the story while reading it considering that virtually every character sans Ranma is an OC. That said, I didn't feel like I was reading a story, more of a log of what happened to the characters. Yes, there are overall villians and plots, but it didn't feel like there was an overall theme and method to the story. Which I don't like.
