Look if it's any consolation, if you DO flip town I'll reconsider the possibility that Miner/blab is impossible and Fable might be scum. I mostly don't like your worlds because they don't include you.

What? No way. No LYLO I've played went that quickly. It was all hemming and hawing and careful consideration, and the ones I won as scum were because there was very little re-examination and a lot of gutfeels type stuff.

 

Like imo, take a minute and think about that.

And if Fables ever mafia here, it's not on me, I've been trying to get people to actually talk about him and worlds that involve him quite a lot today and zero people have gone "Oh yeah, that makes sense".

Actually, the reason I'm lynching you and calling for a 1v1 is because if it's a world of DC!Town and Fable!Scum I can't fucking win it when you're not even willing to take heed to the possibility, re-read him, re-read me, re-read anything. If you're playing a "I can't know you're town until you flip" type game there's no real reason I should be reassessing you over him? I've tried to open up discussion on this topic and been shut down by a few people, largely including yourself.

And I have been mentioning that Blabs play this day screams scum motivation, I've explained that I don't think he can be believing the 4 scum world he's trying to sell and called out the issue with his read on you and how his treatment of myself/Miner feels like him being very agenda-driven with his play.

Anyway I'm heading out to origin, I'll probably only be on for a ~2 hour period between now and deadline, I'll try and work out exactly where I'm at re; the scum team.

Probably retract the 1 v 1 with DC, still think he's mafia but I'm not firing that unless I've had more time to actually try and solve this properly, it feels bad when I rate our odds of winning lower than 20% when ~randomly lynching in the pool even if I get mslynched = 25%.

 

I wish the fucking deadlines on this site weren't so out of place for me. It feels so impossible that there are less than 24 hours left.

although I don't understand why he wouldn't be pushing YOU in that world. In particular, he doesn't think anyone is scum OTHER than you and Miner, so he should think you're scum in ALL worlds. Yet he's not trying to lynch you.

Okay. The only explanation I can see for that is that he wants to mislynch Miner first. But even THAT makes no sense because like I said before, why would he willingly choose to take you to LYLO over Miner who is way less active and unlikely to even put up a fight?

I guess that's more likely than that he's town and just wants to flip Miner first to...

blab --- Do you think there's another person who's more likely to be Miner's partner in 5scum worlds than Regfan? If so, who and why? If not, why are you not lynching Regfan first?

Deadlines are about what I'm used to, although I'll admit the length of the game thread has been kind of hurting me play-wise.

 

DC's jump to blab is so fucking gross.

I seriously don't see the cases on blab; I want to take a close look at them again one more time just to make sure I'm not missing something, but Miner/Reg needs to be resolved.

If they're both town then I'll endure whatever abuse fonti wants to do to me for going back on her read and the rest of you can blame Reg for getting caught up pushing me for practically the entire duration of the game.

 

The case on blab is that he keeps floating that Reg is the last scum in a 4scum world but is trying to get Miner lynched instead. Combined with townreads on everyone else in the game, this literally makes no sense. I mean if you can answer why someone who believes the following:
- Only Miner/Regfan can be scum
- If there's only one scum left, it's Regfan

would be trying to get Miner lynched, then I'm all ears.

 

Oh yeah and also if we're in dC/Miner world then ok sure I spent the whole damn game bussing him and my flagship team for today included him up until 5 seconds ago as did all my lynch chains, but whatever.

I don't care about resolving Miner/Reg because if blab flips town then they're both scum anyway. If you can convince me that isn't the case then maybe I'll reconsider.

OK, here's a question. If it's DC/blab, why does DC spend this literal entire game day just sitting there and waffling between Miner/you. He took pretty much no stance in one direction or the other. He spent the entire day voting Miner, but all of his arguments with you were like "oh I don't like thing X" or arguing about theory or whatever, but he didn't commit - then after he spends all that time waiting he settles on... his partner? In a situation where he'd probably just get killed afterward anyway?

I think if you're town his Miner vote was distancing and he was hoping to lay the groundwork for an opportunity to get off of it later in the dayphase by arguing with you (and recently shading blab once it came up).

This maneuver also makes sense coming from scum-you facing the very real possibility of a Miner->you->DC chain lynch after Miner's town flip. Lynch blab today and then after a town flip we're all just stuck tomorrow and you ahve plenty of room to argue out of it.

Also you can't just say "oh it's obvious me/DC aren't aligned" and then just ignore the reasons I've laid out for why I think that exact team makes sense.
