If blab flips town then I have to pick between some combination of {Reg, Miner, DC, Fable}, at which point there's all sorts of shit that could go wrong.

A lot of the reason I want a Miner flip is because if he's scum I can just stop thinking about Reg the rest of the game. <_>

No read. I think your town read on him is because you're getting emotional and impulsive because he gives you what you want wrt the blab read.

I've been over this. Reg/Miner are hard anti-aligned because Miner-scum's treatments towards Reg only makes any sense if Reg is town and lined up to be the designated lynch of today. Miner can be town in a blab-town world if the team is Reg/you.

This is all discussion that, if held today without even having any flip to work with, will lead to getting caught up in mass paranoia (look what's been going on here) instead of detracting from lynching the person who is just the most likely to be scum.

Fable is playing this the same way because he knows this too. It isn't scum-motivated.

 

They totally make sense in a crossbus world where both scum look bad so they lynch each other to guarantee ONE of them gets credit. This is my working hypothesis for both being scum.

You are right though, my arguments don't apply to you because you have Miner+me as a possible scumteam and I obviously don't. So FMPOV lynching Miner makes no sense unless Reg is scum which I'm less sold on than I was.

 

I'm not really thinking so much about *possibilities* of shit, I'm just reading play. Miner's play this game day fits the profile of scum coasting (which has also fit how he's played the rest of the game, namely D3 wrt Jari), not scum cross-bussing.

 

I have been thinking about what I do if miner somehow flips Villager and I feel like the answer to that is curl up and die.

Also relevant: Scum don't coast when they're the ones under scrutiny. Why would Miner be coasting in a scenario where he's at the top of the lynch pool?

blab's play has fit the profile of "lurksack" for the entire duration of this game. That is not equivalent to "scum coasting".

I think we're reading the game state very differently Pie. I don't have time while at work to go into it more than that. I think Blab lynch does the most for me but can understand how you're hoping Miner might clear me up, I just don't think it will but *fingers crossed* if that's the avenue we take? I'd still prefer a Blab lynch here and think Blab+Fable is a legitimate chance.
