I have competent towngames exactly when I have something to contribute that isn't just normal play. Closest I've probably had otherwise was Prettiest Princess, and I basically just yelled at people until they reevaluated and found the scum themselves.

That's probably tougher for me but let's see. I think I try to powerwolf pretty much every time but at the same time I'm less controversial as a wolf? Like I tend to say things that piss people off or that's not popular way more as a villager where as a wolf I try to play it a bit more safe to avoid attention. I guess I'm more consensus-y as a wolf is a better way to put it.

 

I mean, yeah? If you claim Tracker during a massclaim then not only do scum after you know NOT to claim Tracker, they know to claim their visits. This renders your info basically useless, so you're better off trying to get a 1v1 with scum than wasting your role entirely by letting scum claim around it. The main exception is if you tracked someone to the kill target, since that should probably be evidence enough even if the person you tracked claims some other kind of visit.

Also, I have never actually been a Tracker before.

Also that post was before it was pointed out to me that pie claimed before Cobalt did. That threw the whole thing, since a Tracker with a contradicting info piece to someone who's ALREADY claimed should 100% just claim as-is, since they are risking their current guilty by trying to farm for more.
Stanari --- Cobalt claimed pie might have rolecopped me. I pointed out that the scum rolecop had already flipped.

(EBWOP: This applies specifically to having a track on someone who has yet to claim. Having a "no visit" on someone probably isn't worth it since claiming a visit that doesn't exist is FAR rarer than not claiming a visit that DOES exist)

But like it didn't bother you that cobalt didn't try to pressure her before that? I mean I feel like I'm rehashing an old argument but cobalt had almost no interest in pien before he claimed a track on her and that didn't seem to bother you.

 

Ah, I see. I THINK it was Cobalt's flip that really twigged that for me, since it pointed to a scumteam focused on disrupting whatever town power existed? Or I just thought of it afterwards. Anyway, I don't think I had that theory in mind at that time.

Eh. A visit to a non-kill player is more likely to be town. Not calling out pie's VT claim is a problem, but sitting on the information when pie hasn't contradicted it is fine. Particularly since the track means if pie isn't scum she's a town PR and pressuring her might cause her to claim and then get nightkilled.

 

Kind of don't like blab hiding behind mechanics here especially after he had such a strong reaction to cobalt's previous claim.
