This game was definitely a learning experience for me; it's pretty rare that I get to play in an analysis-heavy meta and it was kind of a struggle to get in that mindset early on, especially without really knowing anyone. D2 was pretty rough and I wish I'd just noped out of the thread and come back when not in a terrible mood.

Sorry to disappoint anyone who had any particularly high expectations for my play; as you can see, I'm actually pretty bad lol. Feedback is always nice, even though I suspect in this game it will largely amount to "actually exhibit solving behavior and stop tunneling townies on trivial interactions" >__>

At any rate, thank you for the game! <3 I actually had a lot of fun, despite what D2 temper tantrums might say.

GG Fable, you are absolutely insane as scum. Very well faked town tells.

 

I love this flavour.

Great modding in general. VCs well spaced, impressively prompt resolutions, and a well-designed setup.

Gosh, that takes me back to the ban-spree you (partially) initiated in the middle of my first modding here.

 

I'm sure Newcomb will talk about the setup more, but it was intentionally slightly scum tilted. Most setups run on DLP are going to be slightly scum favored just because the community is pretty insular, and it's really easy to clear people based on familiarity when town.

It's not enjoyable for games to be town stomps repeatedly, after all.

It was by no means unwinnable, I mean, it was pretty close to being won. Fable just played well despite his team encountering some...difficulties.

 

If they kill anyone but jan n1 I think we win almost 100% if the game otherwise played out in a similar way (obviously it wouldn't have, but yeah).

fonti's now been on the wrong side of the DOB 3 times. She got away with it once and nobody has forgiven her for it since.

 

Oh, I wanted to say congratulations to two straight games of zero replacements.

It's a valid reason to not lock clear Fable, absolutely, but let's...not turn this into a toxic meta where you lynch people just in case they're a wolf.

 

I'm curious as to why it was considered scum advantaged other than there being 5 instead of 4?

Like kai said, this game would have been far nastier for scum if they hadn't immediately taken jan's check out of play. My perspective on setup balance is that townsided kills upset the table even when they hit town; throw in confirmables and very few useful roleblock targets and I'm ????
