Basically the whole "Vaimes is self-resolving" bit. My understanding of playing with you is that you tend to end up getting caught around the midgame as scum, so shelving you in favour of chasing up someone else (i.e. me) strikes me as using metaknowledge of you to optimize townplay.

Also I disagree it's ever a good idea to not scumread someone due to meta. Seems like it just makes being scum as easy as "act like metatown"

I would say that it is your attitude. People like playing with people who are having fun. By you not being excited or enjoying yourself, you might be unintentionally bringing others to feel down about the game, so with this in mind they are probably trying to get rid of you because you aren't like them or aren't enjoying the game as much as x, y and z should be enjoying the game etc.

Day 1 has a lot of information if you know where to look, or how to get people's reactions to your posts.

I was combination of busy and lazy so I didn't feel like looking back. I thought the inquisitor or something was like what he was describing. When I think of Oracle, I think of the EpicMafia Oracle, that when the Oracle dies they reveal the alignment of the last person they targeted. But I understand that it's likely not that role.

Mistakes happen. You move on. Changing your play because it didn't work out isn't always the best strategy. (not sure if you are actually doing that or not) But the game changes and you learn more over time.

 

Vaimes might reasonably object to "Vaimes is self-resolving" as a cop-out, i.e. me refusing to commit to a read on him, when I'm normally quite good about doing so. Perhaps leaving him as a mislynch for later.
