i've skimmed/read the majority of thread, but now I'm going back and rereading to piece everything together.

 

The hard defense from beru seems unlikely to me if beru knows acio is wolf

 

tl;dr I called out acio for being lacking compared to last game and he called my opinion invalid since I was a wolf that game and has been shading me ever since, I voted for him and it took him quite a bit of time to vote me back so I don't really think he believes what he's saying.

 

He's either town or town siding I think. I'll explain this a bit more later.

 

Elder witches don't know who's a little witch, they only know all of the little witches and village agents.

Hypothetical: beruru knows Acio is either village agent or little witch. beruru looks at Acio's play--> scummy

Therefore wants to recruit him. Defends Acio using meta which doesn't even make sense. Acio calls her on it. Could be distancing or hes an agent.

First things first; tom is claiming every single role. That became really obvious really fast, and I was a little disappointed in people (cough*Fable*cough) for (pretending?) not to notice.

Stating the obvious beats the purpose of any kind of gambit, however small the odds of someone falling for it. From this, I get that tom's having fun, rather than pushing an agenda. Tom's perfectly capable of having fun AND pushing an agenda of course, but it rings true to me.

tom claimed an alignment here instead of a role in all his other claims. Hadn't noticed this at first, but it strengthens my read that tom is just picking stuff from the OP willynilly while reading up. Scum!tom wouldn't post this. Even if scum!tom somehow would, noone reacted to it at all. He'd have come back to it because of that by now and done /something/ with it.

I like that tom follows up on his first content when Fable gets back to him about it. It's plain good interaction.

Wolf!tom with the idea of claiming every role would have just grabbed 1 gif a role and rolled with it. Tom going one by one loosey-goosey like this is just so right. I can just see him chilling out, casually scrolling through gifs. There's no urgency there, nothing to prove. Complete ease with the game is way more townie than scummie.

Scum tom is a bit more likely to do more than "/lol" when Fable goes "called him out now he's doubling down on gifs". A little bit?

I'm still not convinced on Citrus' towniness, but tom just not scumreading Citrus' omgus thingy can happen I guess? If you start from an angle of Citrus town maybe? I can't see it tbh, but whatever Citrus is, we can't base tom's alignment on it because tom.

Consider this Miner; Is tom more likely to make "the most un-tom post ever" as town or scum? I'm leaning town, because he's free to be as un-tom as he likes. Appearance is not one's main concern as town. It basically is as scum, and tom's a vet at it, so... This would be you conf-biasing.

Dyachei's suspicion of tom reading her differently is a note against tom. "I'm trying to read you differently" is really weak.

The series of posts after that where he's defending himself and his not-lie... He forgets about his gimmick and gets absorbed into the conversation. As scum, feeling the heat there would make it more likely he throws another claim and gif in there for momentary relief, get his thoughts straight. This is the opposite of that.

Again, I don't agree with these reads on Citrus, but as scum "gut" full stop is likely here. Some kind of justification probably thrown in, nothing specific. The extra lines are slight +town because it feels like they were just shaken out onto the page from somewhere. Just feels genuine to me, can't really argue that if you don't feel it though. Nevermind this bit.

I like tom's DC/weiyao focus. Thread focus is somewhere else completely but he keeps bringing it up. Townie. It's a bunch of posts. Not gonna quote them, but they feel genuine, and the focus there at all feels townie.

Why is this a ping against Vaimes tom? You're basically agreeing that Cobalt showing up allows us to clear him, you're just shifting emphasis on how that clearing would happen.

The sheer irregularity of these role claims btw! Could be I'm being influenced by thread flow, but it feels like tom just gets absorbed and then remembers "oh wait, I was doing this thing". Again, scum would use it as a crutch, or /something/ rather than... like this.

I think Acio's play makes some sense as being a lil' witch, but would Elder Beruru be poking at him to determine his lil/agent status this clumsily? Seems unlikely to me, but then if Beru is scum we can't credit him with stellar play this game, so maybe.

Not too sure about Citrus's post in #609. Regardless of my personal read of the situation, it just feels a bit of a cop out by backing down after catching some flack on it. The unvote instead of a vote switch as well reads poorly.
