I have a long history of voting to tie wagons regardless of my opinions on them.
It's a bit of my own meta I've exploited before as scum.

Things Beru wants explained:

Every single injoke. Why people react in certain ways to the other things people do when it's not a town thing to do. Why people are content with waiting four entire IRLdays for Cobalt/jwlk to be replaced (but with how badly the mods went after me specifically, I don't think real replacements exist, or I wouldn't have been asked to join in the first place...). How other people know each other, and from where. Why people trust each other over nothing and then turn around and say that they can't trust me.

The nice thing is tied wagons are wonderful for analysis later on.

Final laptop post, I'll probably be able to phone post for the next ~2 hours and then I'll possibly be gone.

Strongest townreads on Miner, followed by a gap, then Rubicon and Fluffiness. Fluffiness hasn't done much during the second half of D1 but his play thus far is very reminiscent of his town-self (even with the low post-count). Explained a few of the reasons why I town-read Rubicon already. Miner's a strong town-read for very high activity + I feel like he's genuinely trying to piece people together (kinda like the Rubicon read, including times where he could hand-wave things away which is better from a scum-perspective).

Next tier got town reads on Tom, slightly lower extent Acionyx, and also Weiyaoli. Really like Weiyaoli's posts over the last few hours, wish he posted more in the middle of D1. Oh dyachei is thrown somewhere into this tier, maybe right below the other 3.

Weak town-read on Jarizok. Above null but not very substantial, his play is definitely in his scum-range imo but it rings a bit more town than null on the spectrum to me (a lot of effort to fake it as scum).

Vaimes is below null along with Owner and kai. Maybe slightly below the other 2. Kai's coasted the second half of D1 (which isn't necessarily unexpected from him), but Owner hasn't had quite as much of a presence as I'd expect/have seen town!owner to have thus far. ~I'd place Beruru at around here right now. I think at this point if the wagons were larger on Fable than Beruru I'd probably switch my vote over to Beruru? Idk though. Acionyx's steel meta town-read on her is biasing me a bit upwards ceteris paribus~

~I'd place Fable in-between the group above and dC right now. He fell around slightly below null to me when I voted him, but then his exchange with me made me feel a LOT worse about him. But some of it may seem to be playstyle-induced, which could either be him using it as fake reasons as a witch or legit he can't separate his playstyle issues from his alignment-reading.~

I'd actually rate dC at a half-tier below the above at this point, he's fallen off in a way I don't really jive with his town-play. I feel like he really enjoys to...kind of manage the talk-flow of the thread in a sense when I played with town!him? But he hasn't been interested in doing that really so far here, including as he's kinda coasted off D1 end. But he's also easier to read once more analytical stuff has happened so we'll see.

jwlk and Cobalt are null (I don't think I even read Cobalt's spattering of posts).

If day had just started and we had a lot of time left, I'd suggest the thread focus on Owner and dC the most. I think they've both been pretty under-the-radar compared to most of the other players in this game.

In all fairness, I'm not cool with the random jwlk not even her slot, and I'm also pretty not ok with Cobalt being afk (especially as D1 lynches feel kinda bad 80% of the time it's on Town which they are more than 50% of the time? etc.)

But there was definitely a time to complain about this and that was way earlier than now, at least the lynch-thresholds have been temp reduced

I don't know many of the injokes here. First game on DLP, too. But Cobalt did check in and post a few times and said he was in the middle of moving and he'd be more involved d2. I suspect mods are looking to replace jwlk.

I know Fable from MU. I know Cobalt from MU. I've seen Owner in passing from MU (mostly discord/hearing about her walruses). I know Tom from MU.

I don't trust anyone because that's silly. However, I think Citrus' posts make no sense from a progression standpoint.

 

So.
I'm starting to get this feeling that Beruru is, umm, overly reliant on meta. Which is fine when you're playing all the time especially in a relatively insular community like this one (stares at Miner). Not really sure where he's played before but definitely coming back to the game in some way. And he's just having trouble finding a foothold by not knowing very many people.
This is pretty clearly what he's saying.

But if he's a witch isn't that just... a thing he can ignore in his first game back?
If his feeling lost/wanting things explained/whatever is real, it seems more likely to be coming from town Beruru.
And seems a pretty strange thing to decide to fake.

Probably. We should still leave him alone for now, though. Also, this future bear doesn't regret not posting their opinions on Citrus from the past, because they were wrong.

I'm originally from MSPAfia/original Sirlin forum, pre-FS...

Because I'm forced to play like this and not 420/69 bad posts every day, I dredged up an ancient playstyle from when I used to type like this and not... like that. I don't think this style is congruent with this forum, but I can't play the way I want to when I have to be this way.

I've played on mtgs before, actually... we tried it out as a new home for MSPAfia back in 2012 but it super didn't work. I obviously have a MU account, as well.

Acio's post is... probably indicative of my meta when I have to use this playstyle and not 420/69 [airhorns] bad posts every day. The problem with having to structure posts ~properly~ is that I have to actually take effort and reread them instead of just "lol ok so why is fable doing witch things and nobody wants to murder them seems fishy imo", which means I actually like, get invested, and then there's like, emotions... It's bad. 0/10 do not recommend. I started being a shitposter so I wasn't smug and rude to everyone constantly, basically. It worked, too. Plus, it's more fun than... having to do whatever this is.

...I don't know what sort of thing that is, b/c Zealot of any alignment should understand claiming is a death sentence for a town!Zealot. So scum!Zealot is facing down awkward questions around halftime when they survive and could just keep quiet, but why is town!Zealot claiming either? I GUESS this reads town simply because it doesn't look well thought out as either alignment and Fable's scumplay in RWBY WAS well thought out.

I am going to try reading p60~p70 (20ppp) again but I think I really want today to be a Citrus lynch. Beru/Fable/Acio I kind of don't want to shoot into D1, Acio hardtowning Beru kind of makes me not want to lynch her b/c I don't think they're BOTH scum and if Acio is town I think his read is worth listening to, and Fable...

...honestly, his play so far just hasn't matched his RWBY scumplay. Most notable, in RWBY he SAID he didn't want to be aggressive because his scum aggression tended to get him in hot water and here his aggression levels are off the charts.

Only kinda skimmed anything since p63, throw things at me if you want a comment. Esp. who to consolidate on because I hate both the leading wagons so I'm not sure >_>

He also town read other people very easily despite not posting. And if you look through several future reads lists, his reads change semi-dramatically with no or little new info. It doesn't feel like something town does. It feels like scum forgetting their reads.
