I played one game on MTGS, and a couple here, and a ton more at xkcd like ~8 years ago or something.

Hate to leave the game whilst it's tied wagons (and a ton of people with votes on targets that won't get lynched), but I'm really tired and want to sleep and I'm happy with where my vote is, so I won't be around for EoD.

 

Just lynch me because all of my work I put in doing ISOs being thrown out just because somebody AtE'd is trash.

 

Yeah uh, in my experience scum are hells more likely to remember their reads because not keeping your story straight opens you up to criticisms like this. It's explicitly a major factor in why they tend to come off stiff compared to town; changing gears is scary and actually hard to fake.

Your experience and mine differ quite a bit then. But your defense of Citrus is noted.

 

I would be very surprised if owner was a witch. She was a witch in WH8 with Jarizok and me and played 100% different. In this game, her reads make more sense and have more meat to them, she has stronger scumreads, more conviction, and tonally she's much more confident.

ok seriously though I don't think Acio/Fable/Beru is a good idea to fire into today, both for analysis reasons and because the two up for lynch are both town for individual stuff

like don't get me wrong I don't trust myself to read Beru but I do trust Acio to and I kind of doubt an Acio/Beru team stages the shit they did today (even if it's Elder/LW, whoever the Elder is would have not done that to whoever the LW is by dint of having them on the LW/Agent list)

...ugh except Acio's insta-turnaround technically makes sense if he's Elder and has concluded Beru is LW but then he could be Just Wrong and Beru is an Agent instead but then it's not like Beru is particularly towny on the merits but...

see I just really don't think lynching into that is a good idea D1. I think we want more info and reactions from it, and Citrus is just scummier overall. I...might not want Beru to be run over D1 on her first game back, though, which might be impacting my read in that department.

Also Fable responding to other people escaping the lynch with AtE by...doing AtE is kinda funny. Still standing by his aggression not being scum!Fable though b/c seriously if that's true about his scum meta why would he start aggressively going at people D1 of all things...

Can confirm, I literally forgot half my goddamn reads in RWBY mafia because I was like "whatever shit will sort itself out".

That said, traditionally inconsistent hopping isn't scum "forgetting their reads" but scum wanting to find a mislynch. This also kinda makes sense in the context of Citrus being a leading wagon around that time, if I'm remembering right.

 

I'm home site is PerC. DailyMafia is where I have the played the 2nd most games. I played on MU, here, and millenniumforums. I've sparingly played on POG, NF, mindromp, VS, and bulbagarden.

Oddly enough, I got confused and thought day 1 ended tomorrow.

The Syndicate, Dragonmount and W3Dhub are some of places I'm concerning playing at in the future.

 

Hrm, not-dyachei people:

This is a thing came up in my notes on citrus. The precise wording of citrus' pressure thing is eh but the context I keep coming back to in here is that he's clarifying that pressuring tom is a worthless enterprise and basically tripping and revealing that dyachei is a pressure vote.

Dyachei then responds as if citrus has declared to the world that he's voting dyachei for pressure and dyachei's attack there is strangely worded and implies she's saying that citrus is simultaneously trying to dunk a mislynch and disarm his vote.


His reaction to this business is one of the things I've most strongly read town about him, specifically the part where he asks her experience because I can 100% put myself in his shoes there, see her response and the instant thought I'd get is "WTF are you new here"? I don't really see scum getting that same boggling going on.

Accurate? No?

That moment when I don't like either main wagon. Vaimes and tom, aside from dc are who I want to lynch, and they are voting on Fable who I'm also kind of suspicious of but probably wouldn't kill today. So there's that, beru's push or dislike of me felt like it could be real, but idk, it's harder to judge when I don't know how the person plays.

But then again idk how dc plays so maybe that's inaccurate. I guess I'm saying I'm not sure what to make of Beru, but her wagon looks better than Fable's wagon.. decisions decisions.

And I could be totally wrong here so that's more pressure...hmm

 

Dyachei posts later that her concern is Citrus is trying to farm for people hopping on her regardless of it being declared as a pressure vote, IIRC.

That said...I dunno. The fact Citrus then swings into a scumread-and-vote on dyachei kind of lends credence to the "attempting to lynch dyachei" angle, and the reminder that Citrus scumread but didn't vote tom and then ended up townreading tom is fun. (I've voiced my opinion that Citrus/tom is probably hard coaligned i.e. either v/v or w/w before, this kinda reinforces it though)

All in all, I guess I feel like that bit is mostly NAI (I can see it happening to scum!Citrus even without him trying to get dyachei lynched and just trying to keep himself of scum!tom while scumreading him) and it's the subsequent defense and argument with dyachei that's cruddy.
