I for one, think this is hillarious. He probably is two seconds away from working at a burger joint. At least, though, he layed low and didn't surface until it was in something like this rather than going crazy and flashing his snatch at anything with a flashbulb.

As a former manager of several of the larger places, McD's, BK, Hardees specifically for the buger places, KFC as well... the commercial in no way makes the industry look bad.

However. The 15 year old nonenglish speaking mexican at the drive thru window in the middle of a school day makes them look bad.

 

Have to agree with Sy on that note. He was (Maybe still is) an arrogant bastard for awhile because he had an air of superiority about himself for knocking up Spears, but I would have too if I had her screaming 'One More Time!' every time I had her thin-then-thick-again thighs wrapped around my tongue wagging face. The guy got lucky, lived the good life for a couple years, and now it's done.

As for the commercial, it's pretty damn funny. Not as funny as the never aired Bud (Think it was Bud) commercial, where the guy popped the cap off on the breast cup part of Janet Jackson's infamous Battlestar Galactica outfit before her halftime show performance. But it still isn't bad and I've got to at least acknowledge the fact that he's taking a huge jab at himself in the commercial. Something I'm pretty sure the FuckFed of a year ago wouldn't have done.

 

How exactly is he making fun of himself? He's making millions of dollars for a 40 second commercial seen by a billion people to dance in a fake resturant showing a shitty music video of his. Give me a break.

 

Actually, he's only getting 400,000 thousand for it last time they reported on it.

And it's not millions of dollars, the got got a 1/2 mill for a commercial that EVERYONE is going to be talking about in some form or another, that lil spot will be remembered way more then some of the commercials that cost the larger companies a few million just for the time space, then another few million for production and shooting.

Saw Carlos at the Improv in San Jose a few years back and he did a very short rendition of the beginning of that song. It was funny, at the time, but he's been using that Dee Dee Dee and DING! shit for far too long.

Wow, huge fucking difference, paying the guy more then a nickel is a waste of money. Also, you act like this is the first commercial of its kind or something. Peyton Manning has the "fan" commercials, Britney Spears had the commercials with her working in a Pepsi uniform, A-rod drove a pepsi truck, can't remember who, but I remember one with someone working in a diner as a fry cook while watching himself/herself on the TV, etc. Bottom line is, the guy is doing this for money, it doesn't make him look humble, it doesn't make me respect him even slightly, it's just more bullshit to gain attention/fame/money. Why would this commercial be talked about? Anyone who wastes more then ten seconds thinking about/talking about/watching/listening to Kevin Federline is a fucking retard, period.

 

If you don't know why it would be talked about, that's your problem. Good business from the company - especially considering the cost vs advertising.
