Uh, basically, if Fluff and/or dC are Coven then they CFD'd Tom intentionally to clear themselves/it was an accident. Tom's post feeling was very... like, "I'm doomed from the start"? I guess? What changed: Fable not being hunter shot last night put him in a position where if he's town he's a terrific mislynch. I wanted to see who put pressure on him (turned out to be mainly weiyaoli interestingly enough)

a) I want to know if I'm right or not about Wei's alignment + role. Selfish answer? Yes!
b) We don't have to deal with Fable now - PoE will get to him eventually if it has to.
c) His interactions with the people I'm presuming are Elders (Tom/Jari) are... weird, and I want to have time to evaluate. (yes, I know I've had time!, but I've been doing other things!)
d) ... also, Fable being LW would definitely cement Wei as the Witch Hunter. Unless Hunter is in dC/Fluff, and they're LWs? But Fable still couldn't be Coven there, anyway...

Using the assassin role is the same as claiming, so claiming first is usually the best option. Otherwise, it's really hard to not be sent straight to hell immediately.

Kai assassinating you would force Halftime, which is... a thing. Not sure I want to go into Halftime with an assassinated maybe-town? Seems bad, imo.

If Fable is Town Zealot and we mislynch, we enter Halftime with at (worst) 3/5. There's a lot of ways to exit that, but most of them are bad for town... especially if witches have at least one extra killing role, because the game could just end instantly.

Witch hunter is never killing Fable last night, so it changes literally nothing about how fable should be evaluated.
