    It was one of the more popular fics, I remember reading it pre half blood prince I think.
    Harry Potter and the Psychic Serpent is the name if memory serves.

    Sadly It is pretty similar to how I started to read fanfiction. It took me like 80 pages before I realised what I was reading was not in fact 6th Harry Potter book and by then I was hooked enough to read more.

    To be fair, that was probably the set designer people, not Rowling. I know she was pretty involved with the making of the movies, but I doubt she walked in and said "Put a giant Star of David in the middle of the floor of Gringotts so everyone knows the goblins represent Jews."
