As an European it was always hard for me to understand American culture. What was fascinating for me is that they like bragging about their freedom which was weird for me, because I didn't think that I have any less freedom than them. I always thought 'What is the difference'. However after this game I finally understand it. NA is just so fucking free.

So, Riot's trying to take control of OGN. How predictable.

 

This year's final's was the highest stakes 1v9 i have ever seen.

What the fuck happened to Peanut? Is he just shit or completely incompatible with SKT's style?

 

Bad meta for him I think. The lack of carry jungles and general catch up mechanism introduced this season mean that he just can't perform like he did last year. He had some pretty good games on J4 in the tournament, I don't know why they didn't let him play that in the finals.
Huni on the other hand was performing pretty well, but then again he was given his comfort picks of carry top laners/split pushers like Gnar and Trundle.

 

Yeah, Peanut in ROX was basically the center of the team. Whenever he'd advance or invade, the team pressured and moved to support him. In SKT, Faker is the center, as the most reliable and consistent player, and he had to adapt to following Faker instead. Combine this with the carry jungle meta leaning off meant he lost a lot in the transition.

Personally I was super disappointed that there's no DFT replacement, and also the poor runic compensation buffs that Mordekaiser got. 5 armor and 5 flat hp, and 5 Hp per level.

I find it hilarious that a giant suit of armor now has less armor than the likes of Sona, Soraka, and Jinx.

 

Huni was spoon-fed by Faker throughout the tournament. Faker would consistently have mid pressure, and Bang and wolf were supposed to be able to hold their own against other bot lanes. This allowed Huni to play his risky carry top style that's super feast or famine. He'd always have mid and likely jungle shielding him.

Problem is, worlds was a win bot win game story because of censor, and so Bang and Wolf eventually couldn't hold up to the likes of Ruler and CoreJJ.

 

Really not a big fan of the BE changes they made , getting champs was always hard but right now it's even harder/the system puts in perspective how hard it is
