Are Lancers just super underrepresented? I know Cu is good, but I never see anyone else.

Doesn't really matter, he's gonna get thrown in the trash as soon as Scathach comes out, lol. And boobyhorsesaberslancers.

 

There aren't many good ones out at the moment. The only SR/SSR lancer is Elizabeth and she's pretty average. Cu is good for bosses, but content is still pretty easy atm so his survivability isn't really needed either.

But yes, prepare to see tons of Scathach everywhere soon.

 

I would take Cu to 100 if it didn't take so many grails. He is stronger than most 4 stars, is essentially unkillable if you get his skills to 6+, and he is my favorite char in pretty much the entire fate series.

 

Cu is way more versatile than Scathach, who is a Divine Boss killer that needs proper NP generating CE + team for her or else she ain't generating that shit on her own.

 

I think the only reason both Cu and Medusa were assigned to 3* instead of 4* is because the devs knew they would need to give new f2p players some worthwhile friend point summons, just in case they got hella unlucky with their first couple 10x quartz rolls.

Until I got Gil and Martha, I was using Cu and my free Herc almost exclusively.

Lancelot (saber) seems the best in the game, but he ain't coming out until camelot.

I'm looking for a third to use with Waver and Tamamo, and while using my Jeanne would be kinda hilarious, I'd like to be able to kill things...

 

Nero is workable if you don't have better, Vlad and Orion seem to be the better options. Robin can work I'm told. Nero Bride is the future replacement for Waver.

 

If you don't have Nero, NP5 Medea is actually an extremely viable choice. With full 1B-3A-1Q teams, you can easily spam Rule Breaker every other turn, even without popping her NP regen skills. Parse out everyone's NP regen skills, and you'll be able to spam it every turn.

There is some harder content down the line where bosses layer 5 or 6 stacks of defense buffs, and this is a useful strategy.

 

Yeah, I have her, just don't fancy much doing no damage to Riders. I'll still use her for now, mainly so I can mess around with Tamamo.

Tangent, but somewhat related question, re Tamamo's Fox's Wedding skill, where it says it increases Arts Cards' performance - does that mean they do more damage too? Or just generate more NP gauge?

More damage, more crit stars, more np, albeit all of these to a smallish degree. I think it's like +25% to 50% given level. Magic Kitty skills are meh. It's Overcharge on her NP that makes her so legit.

 

Khan, you speak a lot of nonsense, her Fox's Wedding isn't an insignificant boost (30-50%). The other two can be meh in most situations but removing one charge of NP could come in clutch.

 

I mean, I guess it could come in handy for really difficult content down the line, but I can't remember the last time I got wiped by an enemy NP. I think the last stage of Nerofest wiped 5 of 6... maybe?

I mean, if I'm understanding it right, max rank (50%) means arts cards are doing buster damage, right? (without the buster chain bonus obvs), while rapidly building NP too. Seems pretty legit.

I'm not sure how vital pushing back NP gauge is though, without some super defensive CD I mean - Jeanne for instance.

 

Orion. Nero. EMYIA. Robin and D'eon are decent. Martha. Or just pick a waifu like you said would be best.

Kuro is still far. Nero Bride is a much better choice and coming quite sooner. Maybe February at latest.

 

Whew, got real lucky farming for hearts today and managed to snatch up enough to final ascend Kintoki. Also used some summoning tickets for Tamamo, didn't even manage to snatch up an event craft esscence.

I'm not going to roll Quartz on Tamamo though, either going to save up for Okida or for Scathach, not so sure on which one. Maybe I'll even wait till London for Jack.

Yeah, I farmed hearts today too and got Tamamo to 80. Might farm a little more to get Medea to 60 just to mess around with an all Arts team.

 

Whose lvl 90 Altera is it that I have been using like crazy for the Halloween event? Has been super useful xD

 

Might be mine. Jean Danjou? She is Max foued and has the Maid or Princess CE. Dunno which is better.

 

If you wan't max friend points, run maid this week, princess next week, and the cakes one on the last couple days.

Edit: Disregard the last two points actually. Didnt realize that the exchange for bats to cakes is 1 to 5. So maid is superior. Better than devil probably, given that bats are consistently dropped in both the 30 and 40 run, whereas pumpkins are a toss-up.
