That was what I was trying to find out.

Because his wording suggested he was only going to scumread Stanari and not scumread me because he already had a scumread. It looked like busywork.

It wasn't clear to me.

 

Which alignment do you prefer playing, again?

 

Now that Zack is gone, I would like to point out that he never followed up on the RNG incident and that makes me sad.

This actually made me lol irl.

I like playing town. As I am not a very nice person, I occasionally enjoy playing obstinate and laconic town.

 

She was asked and she's answering. Although I have to say, in light of the whole "my Stanari scumread was weakened" situation, Vira is not looking good with her recent posts. I second Zack's post that the ISO question was redundant.

 

But do you prefer it? Was the question.

I can see several directions in which this is not.

I think Zack is off from my impression of his townplay. In my last game with him, his early game was insightful and questioning, but with an almost ... laziness too it? Carefreeness? What struck me is the way he turned around on reads quickly as new evidence came in and was happy to question any of his town or scum reads, without making a big deal out of it. This game, it feels more like he's trying to make every point a Meaningful Thing.

I liked his case on Tom, in that I agreed some of Tom's early responses felt like they were reaching for cred. I don't want to interfere with that.

There are other little things, like this:

I don't think Zack goes into detail on how something might be a bussing situation this early on. He might think about it, sure, but I think if he was genuinely thinking about it he would prefer to sit back and see how Proph's stance on Tom progressed rather than tipping his hand.

Other things:

This question can be interpreted as power role hunting, and I think scum!Vira would have seen it that way. I don't think she posts this as scum.

This is Scott's second game. I find his reactions here and later very genuine and town indicative.

Proph called Vira and Scott towny just after their respective quoted posts. I appreciate this and am putting him in my ally category.

Compare to Zack's reaction to Scott's post:

I think, in this instance, even with Zack disagreeing with me, I wouldn't have scumread it if his reaction was at least clever.
