Yeah, I agree with Rob. Just make crossovers a sub-forum of Alternative. A lot of the other things sound unnecessary. As someone has stated before, it's . . . inaccurate to name all things "DLP" or "Non-DLP" (I'm referring to the general section), as it appears to be mostly a matter of opinion.

By the way, Recycle Bin is an excellent idea.

pfft yours aren't pure smut, they also include torture, hence I wasn't talking about them =P

But if you have to cut Vash, remember, it's across fanboy's throats, not down the road.

On the topic of Noir didnt Bio say that it should have a well defined "rule", I guess you can say, of what fics should be when they are in that category?

In any case, I dont really care much if the library is rearranged. However separating crossovers from alternates seems like a good idea.

Hehe. The term "Grim & Gritty" gets tossed around a lot.

Surely there are more Azkaban fics where Harry isnt sent to prison but goes to Azkaban than just Shezza's fic.

I was joking about the H/G just so everyone knows.

I hate computers sometimes just because sarcasm isnt harder to notice.

I can't really agree to all that Independant should always have its own thread.

Is there any way that something could be incorporated in the title, or a specific board, which tells us whether a fic is completed or not, and also if it is novel-length (a set number of words decided on by the staff)?

I don't really have too many complaints about the way we currently do things these days myself...

(Yeah I know I bitched a bit when Midknight did the work the first time, but that was mostly because I then had to rebuild the archives from scratch because many of the fics were tossed out or moved from one place to another and suddenly I didn't know where anything went. Any way, that was then, this is now.)

And seriously, how many of the people here have any idea of how much work it is moving everything around like so?

:wall: Not my idea of a good time.

But if our Lords and Masters are giving any of this serious consideration, I'd like to propose a "Oneshot" section. All fics with only one chapter and less than 5000 words would go in this section, allowing people a place where they could find something quick to read when they just want something short and sweet...

    What do you think?
