I certainly wouldn't call HP broken, but it can be useful for servants with nice NP gain and/or a Self NP Charge skill. Kintoki and Drake usually.

 

It's empty handed if he's just save scumming. And HP is far from broken. It's a really good CE for some servants, mainly Gilgamesh, Drake and Kintoki, and being good on anyone with a support Was to prop up their NP. But it's not something extraordinary or will make your life much easier or will last you forever like K-scope (for farming), since Sumo CE, which will come out in a year, handily makes it obsolete.

 

Specifically the boost limit breaking it gives puts it into the 2030 bracket when used on the right servant (such as Drake, like you mentioned) imo.

I foresee using it on Arts Saberlot in the future too.

That's definitely better than HP in more situations, but it doesn't make HP any less powerful. Sumo looks better on Drake, but I'd rather use HP on np spammers like Robin Hood and Caster Gil.

 

Robin Hood isn't a spammer. His NP gain isn't that significant. Meanwhile, Arts Critters like CasGil, Saberlot and EMYIA benefit more from other CEs, like Another Ending.

 

He can spam just fine with fox buff, golden rule and HP. You only want Robin using his NP given his poor stats. Black Grail or Heaven's feel are better if the enemy will just die to one NP, but with more than one enemy or health over 250k I'd rather HP.

Can't speak for Saberlot yet. Though another ending looks promising.

 

I would disagree regarding Robin NP gain, which doesn't make him a spammer. But whatever. I got a Iris CE. Can't fucking believe it. It's real. I actually got one CE to drop in an event. First time ever for me.

 

I'm not claiming to be an expert. I've tried only formal craft, HF/Black Grail, Loli devil and HP. HP seems to work best for dailies, but there could be better options I don't know about.

And he's not a spammer by default, I just try to facilitate that as much as possible because he hits like such a wet noodle otherwise.

I might just level my Orion and try him with formal craft. He's my only other Arts nuke ATM... That'll only delay Herc and Drake ascensions further though...

It's literally gambling logic, but with fake video game points. And I've been playing in JP for under 100 hundred days, and I'm currently sitting at over 60 golden apples, and over 20 silver apples. The only thing I've ever used the damn things for is for farming CEs that I want. I didn't even use much during the Nerofest event, where there was a lottery system like in the Christmas event. The only thing I really end up losing out on is bond.

It may be gambling logic, but what you're describing is video game logic - where you save an item you don't really need, and end up stocking up a ridiculous amount of them, to the point where you're at the final boss, and you have 99 copies of it. To me the CE holds more value than AP or golden apples - as a large part of the reason I like this game more than other gacha games is that I can figure out different ways to use the characters that I like. Whereas in other gacha games I've played, I usually end up dropping characters that are less useful in favor of those with game play utility.

 

What's the deal with that? Why is JP drowning in apples?

 

Honestly, I have no idea. They hand out some for quest rewards during events, they had a campaign at one point where they gave out a ridiculous amount as login rewards, as well. Some days a few of them will show up in my present box, and I'll never bother to find out why I got them.

 

I think you get 14 over the whole Halloween event on NA (2 a day?)

Because JP need em for the new players to keep up and for the old players with new servants be able to be used quickly.

Events give a lot more rewards, for example, and they need way more QP.

And saying you have extra Apple in JP doesn't really mean anything. I got friends in JP who used 120 Apples to farm QP during 1/2 AP and considered the best use of their apples, and since they went to zero after leveling up all their servants after it, it's hard to dispute.

 

Took over 1000 AP, but I finally got Halloween Princess to drop.

 

RNG is finally picking up. Rolled a 10 on the new event and ended up getting Saber Arturia, another Siegfried (Can finally upgrade my dragon slaying waifu's NP) and a few decent CE's. Better luck than the Hallowe'en one gave.

 

Watched many videos saying it was best to save Quartz and Tickets for future events, but said fuck it and rolled the last ticket I had anyway.

So, any tips on where to farm Octuplet Crystals? Need them to ascend Cu and Heracles.

 

Well the Halloween 2nd stage had an awesome rate. I got like 4 or 5 the last day of farming.

Right now the best APD zone is Sea of Freedom in Okeanos, but Intermediate Zerker training has a comparable rate, and that gives monuments/gems too.

 

Shame the Halloween event is over, but thanks Khan. Will try out the Berserker training today.
