My problem with all of the people with little content like Scott/owner and wei that others just want me to sheep their townreads on and not question the slot in the present day is I know I'm town, I have some town reads, I have some people I don't think are w/w so if one is a wolf I would put the other as town, and I don't think that leaves a very big PoE if I accept fonti is town and so is Owner AND Newcomb is town and so is wei. And Fable is town and so is Vira. And so on. Stanari is town and so is Tsaiah.

Like there are so many people defending a weaker/more idle slot that not all of them can be town so either someone is wrong with their read and I'm right to not take earlygame/D1 town as town forever, the defender is scum and Accuracy Reading, or defending their partner, or my town reads are REALLY bad.

I mean... no one's asking you to just take those reads on faith. But those reads exist in the thread -

Like if you want me to consider Owner is mafia here, the path to doing that is showing me how Scott's posts were plausibly not newb!town. That's the peg my personal read is hanging from, that's the hurdle to overcome if I'm going to ever move on that read.

Just saying "the slot hasn't done much lately" isn't really moving the needle for me.

That's not what I was really referring to. It's;

In the first post she made she makes a "Hello if you're still alive! Don't reply if you're dead" comment to Visor which feels all sort of weird since he was almost certainly the mafia night kill that night and ends up making it feel sort of like a forced attempt to dumbtell. The second post she's complaining about how she's unable to play this as 'confirmed town' when she'd be well aware a) That's not the case and b) If she's getting heat and votes that's absolutely proof that she's not confirmed town ergo should be removing that 'issue' she was having yet there's still like nothing from her? Both of those things I can see happening from scum.

Assuming Vira flips red, I'd probably not put as much weight on her ISO for spew than I normally would, as this feels like an attempt to play "against type" here. Like, I kind of doubt that you're going to solidly nail a partner from her ISO, but you may be able to generate some pretty solid "definitely not a partner" reads from what people say about her in the early/midgame that it may end up not mattering.

If she's actually town and you're town and I'm dead uhhh.

Yeah I plan on looking more at peoples comments on Vira rather than her comments on them.

Think there's a decent chance her posting today after I dropped the wall could all be anti-spew type stuff.

All I managed to get out of a quick skim of tsaiah's ISO is that

- she's cheery
- she's been in catch-up/ISO mode for most of the game
- she has no scumreads? Or at least rarely votes for them

Ehhh. The lack of scumreads kind of makes me squint.

 

Deep down you know this'll be a scum flip! (Regardless of the flip I'm willing to work with you tomorrow if we're both still here).
