Yeah, this is my issue with her EOD type play here, we're 7-0 down but she's not really doing anything here to have any influence on the game, her reads (particularly scum wise) are very hard to understand given there's like..nothing there but there's a few things earlier from here that felt town. I'm really hoping Stanaris big explanation behind the town read is going to make it before EOD.

Why Tsaiah is (probably) town
featuring a lot of meta, almost none of which is explained

1) Her early read on me is more nuanced than I would expect it to look as scum. Like, I'm pretty sure she townreads me as scum too but I don't think she necessarily thinks to fake the depth that's there.

2) How she reacted to me flipping my read on her at EOD2. It's hard to explain and I don't want to go into it too much at the moment, but I don't think she thinks to fake it basically ever.

3) What she did with her EOD2 SR townread. It's in her scumrange to bring it up, but I don't think she's that persistent in talking about it or tries to leverage it for reads as scum.

Whoever was townreading her for trying to break up fights: that's...not AI for Tsaiah. Tsaiah is a cinnamon roll who loves everyone and likes to look super shiny and town as scum.

I wrote all this out and was hit by a crippling wave of paranoia. Joy. I haven't played against her as scum for some time so it's...technically possible she got a lot better at faking the things I look for in her, but I don't think the way she thinks about playing scum is conducive to that kind of turnaround.

I could see it, I just don't see it as that likely? Like, subbing into the game into a generally townread slot you /immediately/ fake a dumbtell... why? Some people jump all over stuff like that, I feel like she'd feel it would expose her, but Owner's definitely one of the people whose mindsets I've never quite grokked so VoV

The confirmed town thing could just be referring to the fact that fontisian said that, essentially, and she rolled with that being the general perception of her in the thread?

I do kinda take your point that it's a strange perspective to reply to an attack on you with something like that - like, reasonably believing it if it's demonstrably not the case? Meh.

Bah, that explanation is just "I don't think she can fake and interact with me the way she has as scum" which does little for me.

 

We're rapidly approaching the point where those soft "eh could go either way but I think they're town" reads need to be rethought.

 

Without context it probably makes her >rand scum.

However, since Stanari herself has no damn scumreads, this is only a small issue.
