    I don't think making flimsy votes with inexplicable twists in position is a playstyle thing so much as a wolfy thing.

    GDI I knew that was so phony but Fable did his meta dive and came in hard Xicor was town.

    I think the moral of the story is, if you have a townread on Fable, and he has a repeated townread on someone you find suspicious, you should assume that person is scum and pat him on the back with a, "you'll get 'em next time, slugger."

    Owner, it was before Jari's case but I posted it this day phase. I don't have a ton of posts this day phase and am on mobile so it's difficult to grab currently.

    I guess my thing with the Scott post is that it feels like he's thinking about other perspectives he could have, as opposed to other actual gamestates.

    I think we mostly agree there. My visceral reaction was scum, too. I think that's even the post I wanted @owner to see.

    I think the way it goes from "if Stan is scum" to then my scumread weakened is the part I don't like. He's going through hypotheticals and already has a scum read on you. But then he just moves forward to town reading you for it at the end. It's just really weird.

    @Stanari

    I see what you're saying. Both about the "reluctant to back off his buddy" thing and the whole "he's talking about hypothetical perspectives he has rather than just, like, having a perspective." For the first, like... yeah, if I squint I can make that narrative fit that post. And the second is valid - in fact I kind of dig the whole "the more you stare it it the more it looks like that" thing, because now that you've said it I can't really not see it especially in some of his earlier posts.

    Do you see what I'm getting at with exchanges like the above, though?

    In your experience do novice wolves just like... blatantly chainsaw for a partner like this? I mean even starting that post with the chain of question marks feels too... exposed, or something. Like this wasn't an out of the blue vote from Visor, before this in the thread he'd mentioned several things he didn't like about Vira, mostly related to her asking questions that didn't have any thrust or point. So wolf!Scott just like, literally missed that? Which I don't really buy - he was hyper focused on you and Vira in the early game. If he was actually with Vira there you don't think he's like, aware of what people are saying about her? And if he is, what the fuck is this post to Visor?

    It just feels like... savant-level wolfing for you second game, to make a post like that to someone you know is town about your buddy.

    I'm trying to think of like, how he could have gotten there - Vira told him in wolfchat to just like, weirdly focus on you/her and have strange leaps in logic then chainsaw for her?

    He's repping a stance in that post that he feels like Visor's vote on Vira was random, confusing - "aren't we out of RVS yet?" - and he's asking if like, he's even /allowed/ to ask about reasoning. This post makes so much sense from newb!town in over his head and just kind of poking at whatever he sees. But in the world where he's a wolf, there's so much intention or agenda behind this since he's blatantly doing... something... with is partner and to couch it all in this aggressive yet still confused language is just

    yeah I'm just going in circles at this point.

    You see what I'm getting at here?
