So, I have things to say, including a sincere apology for how little attention I was able to give this game - I was very, very sick for a lot of it, and then had to scramble to catch up on work.

But consider this a moderator order to stay civil in post game. There were obviously a lot of playstyle clashes, and if you wish to talk them out, apologize, whatever, please do so - but no personal attacks.

I love you all very much and that was the most amazing town turnaround I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of.

Gg people, in the end i hope people had some fun.

Town, remember, town paranoia makes us question a lot we shouldn't, it's only natural and what matters is we got there in the end. Good job.

Also once again sorry i played weird in the beginning, i just found out i was having a divorce so i was a bit messed up. I wanted to continue playing to keep my mind of it a bit (and Also didnt want to say Why because i felt it would impact the game). It was rough playing for a bit but in the end i had fun, i hope you all found at least some Joy from it.

Take care everyone, see you around

Town MVP: Going to make this Co MVP's - one to Regfan, for the replace in, correct lynch, correct vig shot, that got town on the correct path, and one to Stanari for making 1200 posts and being a steadying presence for the thread that basically single-handedly held the game together at points.

Mafia MVP: Uh... going to go with Vira actually, from the spreadsheet created to her optimism and energy pre-game and d1/2, she was the primary reason the team was doing so well. When she went down, all the motivation and energy drained out of the team, and her loss was acutely felt. Honorary mention to Shadow for replacing in and making a go of things, but it was pretty inevitable.

And a huge, huge, huge thanks to all of our subs: Regfan, Yeti, Shadow, Owner, Jan, Para! Game couldn't have played out without you. I know it was a slog to get through, and thanks sincerely for making the effort you guys did, I know it couldn't have been easy.

Oh haha damn, I didn't even get the chance to vote Shadow, but at least I don't have to feel bad about coming in here and being horribly wrong. gg all, hope I get the chance to play a full length game with you guys sometime.

Para, you subbing in and being like "guys, it's just Shadow," while the rest of the town was busy trying to kill each other/you was actually really good, lol.

Yeah, I’m sorry I didn’t really get that far when I replaced in. The slot needed either another newbie or vet who had the time and skill to look townie and deep wolf it out.

Thanks for hosting Eido, was a fun experience for the most part though I hope never to draw vig again, the amount of stress on reading and rereading parts of the thread to try and limit making a mistake is not fun in that short a night phase especially when I'm getting trolled by the mod during it. The one upside is that I can claim I owned the slot that killed Proph!

Was pretty impressed with a lot of players reads and play throughout the game, think collectively it was a very accurate town, just in the early day phases people were convincing each other out of lynching their correct scum reads and ended up landing on the incorrect ones. Stanari, Vaimes, Dya probably among the more accurate players throughout the game though Vaimes lolfallingforShadowsthing was amusing to watch though not as amusing as Newcomb looking like a lost puppy while getting carried.

Other players like Fonti and Jari were really pivotal in turning this game around too, unless I'm mistaken Fonti went from voting only town to only mafia and Jari pushing through Miner clearing 113 really limited scums route of victory.

Think scum playing the strategy of just hoping that town mslynches the numbers needed for them to win probably wasn't thought through enough though some of the replacements on the team hurt them pretty dearly and Shadow replaced into a pretty impossible situation so props to give it a go from there. That spreadsheet is amazing ftr.

Hoping some of the playstyle clashes with newer players here hasn't dissuaded from joining more games, would love to see people like Zack/Visor/GH/11/Shadow etc around playing more games at some point.

I... want to talk about where I was at this game, to apologize and make it clear why things were the way they were. Came into this game very anticipatory, but got punched in the gut by the brick wall of real life, and was down near the bottom of the sleep scale. I... knew I couldn't actually play anywhere near as well as I'd like to, at points early on (that fable/fonti/whatever dialogue being a good example), and as such I struggled to actually get engaged in the game, and that kept up, albeit in smaller cycles, for the rest of the game. From town's perspective, it seems like they saw a giant pivot in our team; I think for the most part it was an accrual of smaller mistakes and overall lack of engagement; some very good slots had to replace out, and no matter how good the sub that never really helps for a cohesive feeling. I don't think we ever really engaged in much proactive strategy or activity, both from a lack of familiarity with each other, to some extent, and just general struggle with having our heads in the game itself, and that burned us after we got lucky the first few days. I definitely didn't do my part as well, I don't feel like I was a particularly fun player to play with as either alignment this game (blah blah subjective i'm not asking for opinions/feeling better), because I was barely able to scrape together enough coherency to make even the most vestigial of efforts of being present in thread at any point during the game, constantly made excuses or referred to real life, something which I absolutely hate doing in mafia games, and just generally didn't give anywhere near what I'd like to be able to put into a mafia game. Also was excessively abrasive and confrontational at times.

That said, this was definitely a pleasant experience; at a different time I would have probably had a blast playing with you guys, and I hope to catch you around at some point where I'm more able to live up to my standards as well as generally help my team and be a positive presence in the game, rather than contributing to suck energy from it. I don't really care to name names in particular, but I particularly enjoyed the thought, effort, and accuracy of several of your playstyles, and generally enjoyed the community.

Thanks to Voxx/Eido for hosting, sorry to hear you had a rough time of it.

    <3 wolf team

.113, hope everything goes well for you, and mad respect for trying not to let something like that influence the game; best of luck to you and yours.

@ScottPress I really enjoyed playing with you, sorry that this game wasn't as pleasant or well-paced as it could have been. Hope you aren't giving up on werewolf-- you did a great job.

I'm going to be up front about this.

There were zero excuses or personal life reasons beyond just being busy as per usual for me.

If anyone still remembers the initial signup thread I was joking around with Vira that wolfing with her would be super fun, and then it wound up actually happening so yeah I came into the game pretty hyped (as evidenced by the pregame chat of wolf chat).

But then I kept getting smacked over the head with copy pasta which just tilted me off the face of the earth because what's obvious to some people isn't necessarily obvious to others.

I think that Newcomb's scum read of me was totally legitimate, the others not so much.

Mostly my annoyance in this game stems from being annoyed at feeling like everything I had known about my homesite was suddenly unfamiliar.

And so to address two very specific people I guess:

    Zack:
I actually wanted to address this earlier, but whatever.

I do apologize for being overly abrasive. I think that I certainly could've handled the situation better, but I think you were also at fault with how you blew up at fonti and Jan.

If you're pissed because I was a wolf while doing this, I did try to clarify after the whole incident that my behavior was not supposed to be AI in any way (I do recall myself thinking that was like openly howling but whatever.)

    Yeti:

Ugh. Where to begin? I think your aggression was super off-putting for me. And honestly I wish that you hadn't cracked the suicide jokes. I've had people close to me go through all of that, and while I've been at fault for making suicide jokes myself, I do try to be sensitive to the issue and apologize or whatever after.

But I do want to make it clear that my comments were in no way suggesting that I wanted you to kys. Maybe I could've worded it better, but... yeah. Sorry.

To everyone else in the game: I think it would've been more fun if I hadnt fell off a cliff. More or less just looking to put this one in the rearview mirror. I know that many of the newcomers don't want to play here anymore, and I am genuinely sorry to see you go if that's the case.

Although, Stanari please stay forever. Please.

Anyways, a general apology to everyone whose game I may or may not have ruined in this one.

I've talked to eido about this game a lot, and I think the general problem was misunderstanding posts and stuff. I'll try to be better. I hope others can help and understand.

I guess the one good thing that came from this game is that Jari misread me.

Only for a while. I had you as scum/strong PR pregame and turned around well enough! This does not count.
