Oh and out of Jan/Fonti/Koalas/Waco I thiiiiink I might feel the best about Jan being town which is uh, yeah, not great since I don't feel good about Jan being town at all. So people need to drop this "so many town reads, where are the scum!?" type thing IMO.

Lots of things, her comparing DCs catch up to Wacos as a reason to lynch Waco here is something I don't think scum do (ie. Comparing a scum players actions to a townies as reasoning to ML a townie), the interaction they had upon game start. The way that DC's seemed to have thought about and placed Fonti throughout the game.

 

Yeah I include dC in that PoE if that's what you're calling it and feel best about him but when I think of his worlds as mafia it's like almost always with Jan, so.

 

Heading into a meeting in ~4 minutes, I should get a few minute break from it and hopefully it doesn't run to EOD.

Reg provided some, but most of my game history is on CPi. I haven't played competent scum in a while, but this game has me as town getting lynched D2 then replacing in as scum and winning. For a more recent and complete towngame there's PsychicHunt, and for a more complete scumgame (though older) there's Insomniac Mafia

I want to say the games as easy as killing through Waco/Koalas/Fonti/Jan wins the game and it might most of the time but yeah there is worlds where you need to consider where that doesn't win (Notable Jan/DC, Fonti/Vaimes, Jan/Vaimes) even if I think most of those aren't the case. Just never lynch Gemma & Beruru and we should still be in a fairly commanding position IMO.

Yes? Because I think if he's having this "Oh crap the worlds not as easy as I thought" going to Fonti is a fairly logical/natural progression.

I think I've said everything I wanted to about Vaimes back in #725 and #740? The main thrust is his actions seem disconnected in places in a way consistent with having private town thoughts, and he probably has the meta sense other people go on about. If you want me to go into more detail about something specific, then point me at it?

I'm suddenly really not looking forward to day 2.

 

You're literally the only person itt even close to scumreading him, is the thing. Like, Vaimes is in my bottom four, but it's hard not to have people in my bottom four when people like gemma/reg/you exist? So like... if everyone else is wrong and you're right, you're going to be the one convincing people about it.

 

I kind of dismissed this due to Vaimes meta of floaty/scatterbrained? Other Vaimes meta knowledgeable people, is this accurate?

(On the plus side, you're a shoe-in for getting shot in the night so maybe you won't have to! :V)
