What I remember of font's scumgame is not congruent with her play yesterday.

To be fair that's mostly Cathunt, but still she was considerably more reserved there and here and I remember a number of her towngames where she got up in arms and took control of things (or tried to with varying degrees of success, anyway)

Of course, mentioning Cathunt makes me start considering Vaimes/font worlds so I guess it evens out.

Where is Vaimes, anyway? And why has fluff stopped talking? =(

So, red = that person's scumreads, green = that person's townreads, and brownish = middle of the pack reads.

For example... Jan being the only person townreading Waco yesterday is something notable you can read from that.

Scumteam was fonti/bears/rubicon/x.

Newcomb was lovers with somebody and they got shot n1, but survived because they had the gambler role as well.

Yeah, until she started going ham on Waco to the point of "we're no lynching unless I get my way". Like, we started poking at her, then she showed up and was like "it seems I am unnecessary" and then started pushing for Wacolynch really hard. The scumread was prior to that reappearance.

That was invitational? I remember that game, but not as the invitational.

Actually that's another thing, she showed up and started doing that as we were starting to be critical of her. Scum are usually more cautious than that.

Normal scum don't distance so hard from a partner that they get shot by them in a witchhunt game (the partner was the dob) just to completely fuck with towns logic.

She is not normal. That is the point.

It's...I think the phrase is "too scummy to be scum"? Like, stuff that's so blatantly scummy that actual scum are generally smart enough to avoid doing it. This is why I was asking about "powerwolfing" earlier.

Kalas read is scumread, but tbh driving a counterwagon to widely suspected scum really hard is another example of this. Like, in any sane universe where the two of those are scum we lynch scum!Koalas today, then lynch scum!font and lol dead. So it turns into WIFOM, and in my experience most scum players pick the safer option since it's less likely to blow up in their faces.

I'm not necessarily advocating NOT doing that, the nature of the beast is such that if we ever get to MYLO/LYLO with font still alive she becomes highly suspect again.

I mean if that's the case then it's like a "first game with Vaimes" situation and I can't get a proper read due to either not having seen or forgotten the relevant meta information. I am kind of going off "normal" with this read, so if that makes it wrong then I guess ignore it?

 

I mean .. the whole discussion about fonti might be something we can postpone depending what gemma says.

I don't think they are on a team.
Fonti did something to/with gemma last night.
If gemma says it says little about fontis alignment then we can continue this conversation.
If she says fonti is town for the thing, then there is no point for a follow up.
At least not for now.
