Hmmm. I was GOING to say middle of the pack but then I remembered all that shit with Waco yesterday and I want to say scum don't generally chainsaw defend town that's a counterwagon to scum which would mean Jan wouldn't be scum with fluff who I'm pretty down on at the moment. I think this probably means exactly one of fluff/Jan is scum? The interesting conclusion to that is that Vaimes is scum unless there's one in {Gemma/font/beru}. Like, there's three worlds:
    - fluff/Jan scum
    - Vaimes scum
    - One of {Gemma/font/beru} scum

With some overlap, but at least one has to be true (this is just math, but it becomes interesting if you consider fluff/Jan to be an unlikely team which I think D1 kind of suggests. Note: You can shuffle fluff/Jan/Vaimes around however you want to get different arrangements if there's another anti-align in there you think might exist. The point is that in a PoE of three, a single anti-align theoretically means lynch the non-anti-aligned person and I kind of feel like we should be doing that maybe? Ugh, I'm not sure)

I think it's still middle of the pack, though? I think my overall read progression is {Gemma/font} > beru > Jan > {Vaimes/fluff} with ordering within pairs being difficult. I'm vaguely leery of beru's position but I can't think of a good reason to bump her down at all.

(Related: I keep getting beru paranoia based on WH invitational now that I've remembered it, where like there's zero chance I'd have caught them without having a guilty check >_>)

I would like for Dc, fluff And vaimes to give a fonti read with as much depth as they can right now.

DC acting around fonti like she is cleared feels so unreasonable.

If fluff is town then we are likely losing this game because we have one misslych left and that is me at this point.
If fluff is scum then we are in an ok spot.
But I am not willing to bet the game on that just yet.

Fluff- I asked you something early d2 but you left and never answered despite you saying that you are caught up on d2 things.
Can you look it up and react? Thanks.

I honestly have forgotten what it was and am on my phone for now.
But I remember you not asking.

How does dc have fonti as one of his toptown?

Earlier he thought about clearing her for meta because of the d1 stuff with waco.
We told him he is a stupid idiot. Even gave him examples and he still doesn't reconsider?

I really really really need your fonti read, dc.
Convince me that she is town without talking about roles in any way or form.
    --- Post automerged ---
Like .. I get that voting von to get him to do something is a thing.

But town!fonti has auto with von.
And she prefers to keep the possible lynch open.

Her 5 hours remark earlier goes in the same direction.
    It just feels wrong.

And no one cares ... no one cares ...

She strongarmed a lynch while being criticized, was incorrect, and then came back the next day with a whole pile of in-depth analysis. This seems both consistent with the town mindset of "I'm sure about this, wait no it fucked up I should probably take an in-depth look at the game now" and NOT consistent with a scum mindset of "people are examining me, I should keep my head down and avoid doing things like ramming a town lynch down town's throat"

Of course, I expect your reply to be "that's not out of font's scumrange" in which case I guess show me her scumgames where this kind of play is in her scumrange?
    --- Post automerged ---
Like. That's not a meta clear. That's just a straight up "that behaviour is town behaviour and not scum behaviour" read.

If fonti had a scumread on von she would push it.

    But she does not.

If you let fonti misslynch von lategame because you misslynched me already then I will haunt you in your dreams.

Well technically the game will be over at that point and I will either make fun of her for being a bad player or everybody else for town-reading her.
Kind of a win-win if it wasn't for the loss in the first place.

    This post?

    3 Day 2 thoughts:
I find fonti's excel sheets unimpressive and distracting.
Is Vaimes even playing the game?
I am willing to call Jan town.

I told you to look at minimafia #6 already.

Most of fontis work today has been busywork with a chart.
I don't see that as a strong start into d2.
I see that she wasn't afraid to die in the night despite softing pr d1 and being a strong player and did some prepwork.
    --- Post automerged ---
    Why am I town now?
    What changed to earlier?

You could simply coast along and wagon me for an easy mislynch, but instead you're putting yourself out there and going after fonti.

If Jan was town, he would know fonti isn't 100% on Von, and needs to keep him under some pressure to get that. Jan is ruining it because he's scum and thinks I might not kill him.
    --- Post automerged ---
    Yeah, you're not this bad.

Apologies, I probably could have killed you last night, but I wasn't certain and I held back.

What is minimafia #6? Hell, what is minimafia?

Also I went back and double checked some of her stuff and it did actually check out.

Also also what prepwork? She started the day without this done at all, she'd read I think the first 200 posts for antialigns which is small potatoes, and was finishing the rest of it today.

Also also also I think the reasoning of "town who expect to die won't attempt to solve the game overnight" is dubious at best. Do you think Regfan didn't bother thinking about the game during the night?

Also also also also pretty much everyone except you and maybe Gemma has done little of interest today. It's been a slow day. You should at least shoot beru over that as well.

    No vaimes is not playing.

But his reaction were town!vaimes so far and I am willing to give him some leeway because he moved to a new continent less than a week ago.

    Oh, bullshit.

Yeah, his tone is pretty towny. But his actual posts are almost nothing, and he's able to fake towniness if he feels safe and doesn't have to do too much. If he's town, he literally just needs to put in a token effort. And if he's scum he needs to feel lynch pressure.

You're not giving him the benefit of the doubt, you're not worried about him at all, because you're scum and probably know he's town who would blow up in the face of you pressuring him. Thinking the partnership thing is unlikely with some of the stuff you said to each other in the 400s.

You and fluff, btw, are the only ones who don't see the inherent value of building strong unalignment pairs. Well, your critisism is more that it's useless for anyone not me, except that's what this shit is for:

Oh no, unalignment things. Better do something to look unaligned with Jan

    Vote: Fluff

Let's do this. I'll see if I can't kill Jan afterwards.

Dc you made me leave bed. good job.

    This is minimafia #6.

What of those two is your thought?
Did she start the day with in depth analysis or did she only do small potato stuff?

And yes you can argue that the first quote is talking about her whole day. But all she did was pressure von for fun and call fluff/me scum, while working on the chart in the background.
    That is not in depth.

And Jan, on the of chance you're town, this is why you're going to be lynched over dC. Well, this and him voting Von and him pushing Kalas to the point of almost causing a nolynch. You know, things that indicate he actually cares about finding scum.

    Nah, fuck that, I'm garciaing.

The first quote is consistent with the second one because the specific time frame doesn't matter. dC is saying that I went into a lot of in-depth analysis after learning I was wrong on Waco, and that is continued through the Night and Day phases. You're picking on an arbitrary distinction because you have no actual point.

Okay thanks for the minimafia thing, I will check that out in my spare time.

As for the other thing, she arrived with a small amount of analysis done and then snowballed it. The point of "came back the next day" was not "did stuff overnight" so much as "did stuff the next day". (PREVIEW EDIT: Yeah basically what she said)

    Oh good grief.

    Unvote

This symbolizes the fact that I no longer have any fucking clue what is going on.

God. I can honestly believe it's Vaimes/fluff and we're just self-destructing at this point. It's reminding me of DHI5, only without the role-based subtext. Or as MUCH of the role-based subtext.

I think you have done little today outside of pushing an agenda.

But sure garcia everything, because who cares about solving dcs alignment, right?
