Has it been possible to edit posts in here all along or did that functionality sneak back in at one time or another?

    Obviously not.

Hi tom, let's talk about somebody. Who should we talk about?
    --- Post automerged ---
I need to ignore the discussion about me and I'm having trouble formulating my own topic.

No clue. I noticed she was unusually restrained/polite when asking me about the accidental garcia but that’s just another notch in the Fonti/Jari not w/w column for you other people I guess.

Seems early for that yo. Most of the early posters have been fairly NAI.

Its, uh, possible I made up that narrative just for that game (I was his buddy) and forgot it wasn't true.

But every other scumgame I've seen from him was terrible

    Hello.

    I'm town.

You should trust me, because I'm town.

I'm also the Priest, so that confirms that I'm town. Make sure to soup me N1, witches.

Plan: Priest and Oracle target the lump on N1. Clown makes the personal decision on whether or not to also target lump. Subsequent nights are more open, but we can at least consider the benefit to trying to soft-townfirm players by coordinating priest/oracle on future nights. This is obviously pretty unreliable past N2, given the number of town dead, and likelihood that certain roles die by then.

Clown surviving a NK is nice, but occultist information means that they pretty near 100% know who the clown is if he survives a kill, and trust me when I say the ability to PoE the gamestate via known roles is incredibly powerful.

The benefit to the plan is that the lump is townfirmed, barring the witches getting insanely lucky with their N1 shot and sniping the priest.

The prior knowledge that this plan will be in effect makes lump election campaigns worth analysing as well - because it goes beyond simple extra scrutiny.

I'm pretty okay with being the default lump by day end, and being the subsequent soft townfirm with two votes.

    Because I'm town.

But I also know that I'm town, and therefore would like people to campaign for lump, and give me reasons why I should give you two votes and my respect. Well, maybe not respect, but, y'know. Belief that you're probably town, and then proceed to ignore you because I don't have to figure out your alignment.

    Jump, lackeys!

    Hm.

In a remarkably un-Newcomb fashion, I'm not interested in lynching Mal. Yet. Probably.

I'm subject to whimsy though and if he vanishes that might change.

    Elect: tom

Because certain things make me twingy, but a soft townfirm and useful doublevote are a thing.

    Vote: Jarizok

    Not random vote.

    Discuss.

Given she has a similar reputation to mal (to my knowledge, in terms of like solving sharpeness etc, not sure best way to explain), do you find it at all odd that her behaviour is significantly different from mal's?
    --- Post automerged ---
I think I remember hearing that exact "make sure to soup me N1" line from you in a previous game.

    As for Jari:

This is an ISO for him in a recent game. I feel like it is a reasonable match for his play here so far.

(I know why I think Mal's play is different from mine.)

Newcomb, I think, in the current meta, naked votes for reactions have been over-used and are now fairly useless. Consider explaining.

Uh. No, not really. Even if it's true, I'd rather softcheck Mal than Jari or Cobalt.

Links to searches on MU don't work correctly, could you link the game instead?

I'll actually add that I feel this is relevant because...

    Hmm.

I guess lemme simplify it to "mal came in and started solving, and I don't feel like fonti did despite having a similar expectation that she do so, agree/disagree?"

Sorry to Garcia, but did you really just ask, is it odd that Fonti and Mal have different/styles behaviors?

    Link doesn't work for me

Thug came in solving too early imo.
Fonti shitposting is way more natural, despite being almost completely NAI

Not that thug has any other mode, or is ever natural.
    But still.

    He's forcing it
