Disagree. Fonti can be solvy early but it’s usually poking/prodding specific people (Usually Miner actually). The difference is more like Fonti starts solving for herself whereas Mal tries to guide conversation in thread.

Newcomb, who is this for the benefit of? Like, explicitly which players require more than the *wink* *wink*, *nudge* *nudge*.

Transparency is nice, but this is tinyhunt.

Mmk. Do you think Mal's forced-posting is scummy?

@dichotomousCreator I just realized Jari didn't play that game under Jarizok. Which player was he?

Mostly actual meta-information on you. Partly Jari not particularly trying to keep an option open. Notably, you asking me this exact question (that's good, btw)

Because verifying that I actually got something out of the questioning and it wasn't pointless is the sort of thing you do as town IIRC, and it indicates that you are paying attention to things not directed at you. (Additionally, I find scum tend to pay attention to things about them but not directed at them, but AVOID responding to such things in order to avoid drawing attention. Jumping into a conversation about you that wasn't directed at you in order to question one of the participants about why they are doing what they're doing, in sum, hits several towntells)

(No probably not, though forcing right after i voted him might be.
He's often struggly, especially [earlygame as town] with no info to work with.
I like thug but we're different players to the extreme, and my usual methods don't really apply)

Like I get the reasoning here, but skeptical Fontisian doesn't know about this and to avoid it.

Tbh, the worst thing that could happen today is the acolyte popping out to "subtly" say "hi fonti, it's me!"

Oh right, "skeptical Fontisian" isn't a person but rather "you are skeptical that Fontisian xyz"

The thing is that you can't avoid something you don't notice, and the point is like "if you don't care about this you might not notice it"

I like the basic premise of "not trying to keep an option open", and may well use that in the future
But it's the sort of tell you actively can't use on me/jarizok types that just do stuff with no plan because of our confidence in our ability to completely change every opinion
    --- Post automerged ---
Just assume all of my meta reads on jari are based on myself tbh.

    "Hi Fonti, it's me!"

After the lecture I got about using level 1 reasoning in the last game...

In the meantime, I'm reading tom LT, just because my mind and gut say LS, and I usually just have to go with the opposite with him
