Why would you keep coins in your wallet in the first place?

 

Because in the civilized part of the world paper currency starts at 5 onwards.

 

I like handling dollar bills, but only for the novelty of the sensation whenever I’m in the States. Pounds are a mixed bag, I love the notes, but hate the coins. On the whole, I vastly prefer the Euro (€) system, coins and all, and the fact that their design is perfectly logical – looking at you here, British Pound with your weirdly shaped and sized coins. They’re all round, the different groups (1, 2 & 5ct / 10, 20 & 50ct / 1&2€) all have unique designs with slight alterations in size and/or at the edge of the coin. There’s no confusion when you want to see how much paper money you have left, because they are all different sizes and colours as well and, as the previous post pointed out, don’t bother with notes of comparatively little value.

TL;DR: When I become Lord High Commander of All Beings, I shall form my Empire’s currency after the Euro, because it is as close to perfect as any of the major currencies I have personal experience with.
