    Wait.

Didn't Mal do this thing where he talked about lump targets and talked about Silver, but this was after Shadow replaced in /and/ he had acknowledged it?

Uh, I think Shadow's side towards Waco looks pretty unaligned at least.

Yes and no. He hadn't acknowledged the replacement. #346->#404

You're talking about this bit, right?

I tend to think this is NAI here, since the 3rd bit is him replying to me asking him to write short sentences about the people he was sorting for Lump. Which, yeah, Silver would no longer be valid, but I can see Mal just being that pedantic / wanting to fully answer the question as asked or whatever.

What would be the telling angle here for you, fonti?

I will say that there's a way this could be construed as TMI. The confidence that that's what's happening with Waco is a thing, potentially. Like it goes beyond mudslinging.

Meh, still don't think it outweighs the scope/nuance of the argument.

Maybe don't give Waco a hard pass and keep trying to figure him out, but I wouldn't lynch him D3 personally.

I dislike the focus on presenting his thoughts at the time as opposed to more revelant lump thoughts on general, because it's defense oriented instead of solving oriented. Specifically, I think he went back to talking about silver because he felt that needed to be justified.

The way he talked about silver by comparing him to Delphine is something I see wolves doing a fair bit with partners. It's this idea of linking your thoughts on a partner to thoughts on other town. That would obviously require Delphine to be town. The link itself isn't making any sense to me.

Note that Mal considers Delphine to be a wasted N1 check, the same category as Silver, initially, because he thinks her alignment will be obvious in time, and then shrug votes her. It's hella inconsistent.

Also, it makes no sense to put silver in that category when he's never played with scum!silver before this. It feels like he's trying to give himself a reason to not have silver in his would lump list. He even gives himself an out in the silver section, after the Delphine comparison, but doesn't consider the silver lump as an option.

Oh, and mentioning silver as a potential lynch, while saying it can wait, feels rule of three (four) ish.

I also think Mal's analysis of me was super formulaic and lacked nuanced thought. I can get the post explaining that, if you need it.

Click through for context, but this is at/to fonti.

Tentatively saying this is a good exchange for fonti; if she's w/w with shadow the interaction on both their ends is very... smooth. This would be a world where fonti's currently voting her partner shadow, and like, read the way fonti talks to him if you click to this part of the game and read up and down a bit.

It's definitely a different look than I've seen from wolf!fonti w/r/t how sharply she treats partners in general. Like, pushing people off them, sure. Directly kind of... softly questioning / poking around? Ehhh.

Gonna keep what Jan said in the back of my head, and pay attention to where she pushes on him harder later, but my gut says this is not w/w.

Babe, I am pretty sure Stanari is not with shadow.

That would only make sense in a Jari/shadow world and even then it wouldn't make sense.

Not super relevant, but I think @Jan should get some props for this read.

It's pretty similar to the "I am to Cobalt in TH5 as shadow is to Cobalt now" read I had, but explained much better.

Sick read bby, way to dunk woofs.

From what I've seen shadow/waco was either real or, like, an actively decided "let's look unaligned" and that just makes less sense in a hunt.
They both seemed unnaturally sure at times.

Looks more likely waco just "caught him" but not strongly enough to be colored the same as vaimes and cobalt

I mean, Jari/Stanari/Shadow isn't a real world or shadow would have just conceded. He literally can't win in this position if he's the last wolf.

What's your basis of Stanari/shadow not w/w though?

How she came in and tunneled shadow and tried to shove on him at deadline and screamed at people for ignoring her?

Like, tell me if I'm being stupid because I am bad at spew and don't really trust myself with it but I am pretty sure no Stanari ever does that to a wolfbud in a flipless game. She was the only person really calling shadow scum at the end.

(God it feels good to be concise.)

I mean I don't think he'd concede but we also just don't have to worry about that world we would just win.
0-1 witches in jari/stanari is what we care about.
And then 1 in shadow/you (shadow)
    And 1-2 in [the rest]

[The rest] here being mostly asmo/DC with a possible side of fonti/waco/gemma

    Well, no.
Shadow isn't normally a big planner. Doesn't necessarily have a huge amount of overarching agenda, just look townie and live awhile. It's the biggest difference between us.
I'm less sure if waco would plan something like that, but the third option of w/w but "just both do our own thing" is eliminated.

    So nyeah

Haven't gotten to EoD in my re-read yet; I do remember her being not so much emphatic as... flailing? but I'll read with an open mind.

He was definitely being lumped though, right? Like, that is the time to bus.

Kinda feel like it could have gone either way still, and given the alternative was shadow getting straight up lynched I think scum would prefer he get lump

I mean they COULD bus at that point but there's a big obvious tradeoff for it unless Jari was also scum, in which case again Stanari/Jari/shadow loses when we lynch shadow so we should ignore it.
