That post Newcomb pointed out about Waco saying Shadow TMI’d Asmo really doesn’t make sense with those three as a team, I agree. That’s why I thought the Waco/Shadow team made more sense and he was angling for an Asmo mislynch with that post.

Fair, sure, maybe, but he's right in that nobody would ever trust an AtE from me again. Plus, it *would* be pretty low, even if your argument rationally makes sense, AtE is still a super low blow. Either way, I'm not asking for a game pass here, I'm literally asking for one day. It's low risk, high reward. If I'm scum, shoot my partner. If I'm solo scum, then yolosoup exposes me and I die tomorrow. I'm not scum though, so let this one go.

@DC in regards to your "for future reference" thing. That isn't the case. If these were ordinary circumstances, I (and most town, I feel) would "buckle in" and replace out, not "do things instead". I've never replaced out though, which wouldn't stop me here if I didn't *need* to do things a certain way here for any of this to be remotely worthwhile. That doesn't mean I think I'm like the wisest man ever or anything, but this game is pretty particular with it. I haven't exactly done *nothing* either. I've shared my reads, and a barebone of the thoughts behind them. If I'm around tomorrow, you won't regret not shooting me.

Yeah I’m totally cool with hammering the no lynch and getting this over with.

We know the PoE and we know what we do with whatever result we get so allowing extra time for Waco to attempt to fakespew as a witch is not a good idea.

 

I also hate that asmo post.
Not in an alignment way I guess though it is kind of an extreme version of excusing activity which is, like, a light scumtell.

I just don't care about it and think it could be ~true regardless of his alignment.

He is giving reads now though which is nice but it's only coming at the end of the day which isn't and i dont even know why I typed this I'm still "team kill waco" but it's like 50.1% / 49.9% now

 

If you're proposing it as an anti-align it needs to be positive evidence, not negative (i.e. "why would scum do this" isn't strong enough, there has to be a specific reason scum WOULDN'T do this)

It works for Shadow/Waco/Gemma.

Waco tried to deflect onto Asmo who was a consensus scum anyway by claiming Shadow TMI-spewed him when he’s a villager.

Like I'll concede that what i would be doing there is not likely to come from someone other than me apparently (seriously I've made town nacho defend buddytammy (and vice versa) to me multiple times and it makes them read the other town because they're defending them from the big bad Tom and then we look unaligned later idk how they haven't caught on yet it works every goddamn time) but like

It looks unaligned but the actions don't match up it's almost exactly his progression on shadow.

It's not as theatrical/actively w/w but I really don't buy it being an unalignment

 

The specific reason is that it would be really dumb. I mean lolwitches and everything but in what universe is your first reaction to your partner’s reaction to a redcheck you probably knew was coming to immidiately push a TMI read on your third partner based off that?
