Might be here for a couple of minutes. Technically just woke up after 3 hours of sleep, but I will try to stick around for a little while unless I get bored.


Fonti has either decided to mostly pocket me or just had similar thoughts around similar times.
Either way I have her as solid town until I get paranoid.


Tammy is in a weird spot. I still have her as fairly high town. Just feels very floaty and more like someone in commentary mode than actually Most of my reads haven't changed a lot tbh.

I need to work ym way through this bottom half of my reads, but have mostly skimmed the game while I was gone without giving it too much thought.

Cobalts reaction reads genuine and it means nothing because his frustration would be the same as either alignment.
A part of him complaining about being scumread here when he just played a somewhat high effort scumgame feels like caught for the wrong reasons.
Will look at his iso once he takes a break catching up.

I agree that basically looking at fluff/miner/jari/cobalt feels like low hanging fruit.
Doesn't mean there is no mafia in it. My gut says at least one. More likely two.

Why are Jari and fluff on different tier for you?

It feels you talked a good amount about Newcomb, but I fail to see the actual nuance in any of your other thoughts, but your colouring and spacing makes me think here is.

I actually thought I deleted all of my thoughts on you after make a paragraph .. felt a bit much like repeating myself and crowding a post without adding too much new too it.

I think it was "than actually solving."
Point being that you are talking more general mafia theories and having fun than talking a lot of the actual game that is happening.
And for a good amount of people that would feel very scummy, but for somereason I don't dislike it for you it just confuses me slightly.

There was something after it where I said that Witches float too and we should weigh you against a duck to get the best results on the matter.

Very unsure just now.

I don't think Jaris play makes sense for him as either alignment.
I don't think of him to be someone that hates scum or anything like that.
Which makes him straight useless poe.

Fluff has been even less effort than normal and I am somewhat afraid that he is just mimicking his town meta of being useless and disconnected to coast by, because he know he has his own meta to beat more than anything else.
Plus .. he just hasn't done a thing.

Cobalt has been raging more against being scumread for the wrong reasons than actually done for most of his thread presence.
I have some questions about the recent stuff before I want to judge. Plus I needed to reread it instead of just skimming half asleep in bed.

Fluff just. Ostky feels like an easy out, like oh here’s this lurker guy that gets suspicion every game. And yeah I know I took that stance on him last game and he ended up scum, and you know I probably shouldn’t be like oh hey lurker maybe you’re town I’ll overlook you for now, but that’s how I feel.

And I should also feel that way about jarizok because I know that people think he’s got a scummy playstyle, and I can barely remember what he’s done this game except that one post I didn’t like.

The thing is fluff is actually capable of playing the game.
He just decides not to.

Plus Your opinion on fluff is valid for Jari as well as miner too.
Miner has done a bit more lately .. but overall still very much an easy out/low hanging fruit.


The truth of the matter is that when you are in doubt about your reads on the people that are actually doing things then going down and looking through/lynching in the bottom of the barrell is the right play.


I will look at more of Newcomb after my next nap. He should have enough content to be somewhat readable. He just feels a bit too disconnected from the thread from what I can remember and I don't like the thing with the miner/gemma w/w read from earlier on.

Fonti said something about reading him somewhat town by now if I rememebr correctly. Need to see if there is something to it.

Newcombs iso in general is missing some things for me.

He asked for Gemma to give a readlist at one point .. and it made me realize even more so that I have little idea about his read on the game.

Part of it is because he hasn't been in thread for 17 hours, but I feel like I should have gotten more out of what I just read.

Add some antialignment reads, but he is not sure about those eithe.


This is not all bad, but I expected some more opinions and questioning overall.

The big upside is that his work looks independent and not like a piggyback ride, but the lack of actual conversations he had and follow ups is somewhat concerning.
I know he is not the king of real time interaction as either alignment, but this is less than I expected.

My very early townread was that he put in more effort early on that I would expect from low-effort-excuse-scum!Newcomb.

There are just certain details that I feel are missing.

But .. low effort gif gaming is different from being low effort overall.

I know. That's part of why I'm uncomfortable. And it's funny you say that about the people I'm townreading because I had the exact same thought earlier when I stopped wanting to scumread Cobalt as soon as he started doing things. That's again part of why I'm uncomfortable.

I'll try to answer this later. I have a headache right now and I just want to catch up so that I can go make dinner and be moody in peace.

Our reads are really really similar Tammy. That makes me feel good about them but also makes me think that we're probably both missing something. I really feel vaguely lost at the moment and there hasn't been a "clicking into place" moment for me yet where the game starts to make sense. I don't even feel super sold on my townreads because half of them are for really specific and kind of stretchy mindset stuff with a fair bit of "fuck it I'll just townread them".
