Before I go. This is a kind of stupid read but I think if Cobalt were mafia he would have known when deadline was.

Less stupidly (hopefully), I don't think his treatment of Newcomb happens the way it does if they're partners. The way he's bussing him isn't even good and I think it probably would look better or more convincing or just different to how it does. Posts like 1060 don't feel like the kind of thing you say if that's your partner that you're pushing on.

(Also, some of the stuff from Newcomb feels vaguely townspewing, like his meta question in 1063 and the way that he doesn't seem to think at all about Cobalt partners when looking at other people's interactions around Cobalt and the way he talks to Cobalt in 1088. I probably wouldn't put much value on that read though.)

I guess there's a world where they're partners where Cobalt just really really never believed that Newcomb would actually get lynched and just wanted to look unaligned with him but that seems like a stupid way to play and I don't think Cobalt is stupid.

I don't think I'm super sold on this townread but I think I'm okay enough with the rest of what he's done to let it be a thing for now. Hopefully I'll be able to work through it more this dayphase since I haven't had time yet to go through his ISO properly.

Fable/Zenzao are mostly null I think at this point.

Fable needs to do things now that he doesn't have the day 1 excuse and Zenzao needs to do non-ISO trawl things. It was weird how he was just doing that while ignoring the rest of the game yesterday.

Jan's scumread on Newcomb and vote on Jari makes me mildly unhappy but I kind of just want to see what he does for a while and let time resolve his slot.
