My best wolf game was...I'm biased, but I want to say my first one. It was a "big plays" sort of game where I successfully fakeclaimed cop to win, and near the endgame dumped huge quantities of gamestate analysis that were actually good but, like, only assuming I was town and a cop (both of which were obviously bullshit)

Other good games of mine follow a similar pattern, where I can get into a groove where it's easy for me to post content that looks great if you assume I'm town.

I don't think "too timid" is the right way to put it, but I do think I'm unlikely to do something big like that on D1 because I generally want the lay of the land before I start trying to do anything interesting.

If you get the lynches you want and are a townie that usually finds scum, the case just needs to be persuasive, not flawless.

Yeah you did good. The "faking thinking I was conceding" thing was an impressive bit of mind bending, I'm still not really sure how you thought of that. I think this game illustrates how, like, I'm good at clearing myself but not good at actually finding scum because if people talk to me I USUALLY find some reason to clear 'em.

I am a townie when I am mafia. I put myself into that role and just method act.

Just delete that information where it says you're guilty, and hit the gas pedal.

Like if not for that on the fake concession thing I would actually have just stuck to you and been fine. As-is I at least made the correct decision to not try and read anyone else rather than e.g. swinging wildly onto fonti.

 

You not voting for Vaimes and Newcomb when Gemma did was something I thought would get more play, but even with that in your iso it just wasn't cutting any mustard.

Just be townie. I was not going to ever push Fonti because I had one argument she was a wolf, and I would have had to ignore everything else she did all game to sell it.

 

This is pretty close to how I do it too, but it's more...mechanical? Like, "I have to be town so how does the game make sense given this?"
