So new Humble Monthly has Mafia III, but it is for some reason restricted in Poland where we get Civilisation: Beyond Earth instead. If someone out. If anybody would be buying it and prefer Civ, I would happily swap.

Does it include the expansions or no?

I personally quite enjoyed Civ:BE once Rising Tide came out. Still not as good as regular civ, but fun nonetheless.

I loved Beyond Earth, more than Civ 5 even (though admittedly, I haven't played Civ 5 with any of the expansions). Definitely a good time, even if it's not perfect.

I'll do it then. I don't care for Mafia III.

Beyond Earth is pretty good, with a lot of good concepts, but for some reason, the units themselves just feel kind of there, and warring is kind of lackluster. I've just never had the sense of impending doom that I've had with civ 5. I really like the game though.

Crusader Kings 2 is free on Steam.

The catch is that it has $140 worth of DLC.

Legacy of Rome, in my completely and obviously unbiased opinion.

Many of the DLC unlock religions and or government types to become playable.

Sword of Islam + Old Gods make the majority of the map playable, exept for Indian religions (also can't play jewish religions and taoists).

Otherwise there are many DLC's that are worth it, but I'd suggest playing the main game first and deciding afterwards, buying up dlc's on sale. There's enough gameplay to last you without playing as republics or or hordes, for example.

Conclave and Legacy of Rome change the way you manage your council and vassals, for example. Conclave is more controversial among the fanbase, Legacy or Rome is more well liked.

There's of course a wiki with all the expansion info.

thx for all the suggestions and the link. I think i will try out the game first and get a feel for it. Then maybe check out youtube, or twitch, for some gameplay with the dlc´s.
