FYI, just putting this out there, but if anyone is interested in getting a Mewtwo from an EX Raid, I can set you up.

Just saying. There's a LOT of EX gyms where I live and I've been doing at least three EX raids a month for quite some time now. I have no problem with doing some for others.

The eggs are hard as i tend to be full of vanilla ones.

 

With all the updates, new features and community events I have noticed quite a few more people in the local area playing.

 

It seems they are doing at least two events a month now.

I'm playing with two people who hadn't played since 2016 and they are right into it again.

 

There may be a new Pokemon in town.

A new guy started to appear in Pokemon Go yesterday. He looks like this:



I can confirm he exists. As soon as I learned of him, I booted up Pokemon Go for the first time in months and he was the first Pokemon I encountered. I caught him, and he went "Oh?" and turned into a Ditto. He can also apparently turn into a Kecleon. That makes sense, since his lower body is a Ditto and his upper is a Kecleon's eye. (He can also transform into a Chikorita, so ???).

People are calling him Nutto, and he's Pokemon #891 according to the game files.

I just can't understand how pokemon designs like this actually make the cut. What is the point of a literal nut atop a gelatinous 'body'? What is the appeal? I will hate this thing forever. There is nothing redeeming about it, unlike some of the species I had misgivings about in Gen IV+.

 

But it's cute. ;_;

Speculation is over; Nutto has been revealed to be a new steel-type Pokemon called Melton!

It seems to be a legendary, and is eight inches tall. And very cute.
