@Nego - Quick note on the "Engage me" type thing before I go but this just flat out isn't how I play, would direct you to read Newcombs post here since it's ~decently relevant~, I'm not as "I don't interact/talk with my scum reads" as Eido/Newcomb are but I generally play by just posting my thoughts/reads etc in the game and having people interact with me based on that. I think talking with scum reads on players (Especially weak scum reads) has very limited game and isn't a hugely good use of time at all, my concerns with you specifically weren't things were asking you questions or interacting with you about was going to help me resolve your alignment and instead just having you pop online and actually post your thoughts/reads etc and read you based on that.

 

I forgot that DLP only lets you have one layer of quotes in your post so you'll probably have to go to the actual posts for clarification because it doesn't!! work!!! YAY!

Eido still hasn't talked about his mysterious Fenwick stuff, btw. I don't even know why he's not talking about it because Fen's posts are really......... not.............. great. I don't know why there's a reason to be cagey about a thing.

The cobalt/fen thing is because cobalt brought fen here from their old forum (at least cobalt isn't playing there anymore).

I think two people can have the same homesite and not have the same playstyle, but she said it is just a baseline.
And cobalts baseline when he is overwhelmed with everything else is somewhat low.

The cobalt-esque reaction thought by fonti is kind of weird.

Like .. The only other thing i know that fen and cobalt have in common is sexual preference and i really can't think that is fontis angle here.

The point being that cobalt reacts with hard omgus and is fairly obvious when pushed on as town at least most if the time.
But that is just a personal thing not a read thing.


I could tell people that i have played with fen before .. But that would be boring. Right?

From what i know about eido he mostly plays slow mtgs games. Being missing for 24 hours should mean very little for his alignment.

I don't feel too good right now but I'll do my best to catch up.

Go read my ISO and my first posts where I talk with Gemma and end up voting Eido just to generate discussion.

 

Just finished the M7 read through though Isoing on a phone was a bitch and a half. Still feel good about him being town, the Eido read and progression in particular comes across as genuine and like the sheer amount of actual reads/content inside his posting and the actual push to try and gamesolve. Have crushed the M7/Vaimes one from it too which is nice, didn't find anything to remove M7/Citrus though.

May be my last post got 15ish hours.

I'm just going to place M+7 higher on my tiered list thanks to page 16.

 

Looking back through the game I played with fen (i think it is a person named quinn that i played with in a mash late june).

One thing is similar .. in that game he basically jumped at me and voted me because he thought I was a person named Jan from his homesite and cobalt had to clear up the confusion.
So him looking at people he knows or thinks he knows first is a thing.

I am not 100% certain it is the same person, but I think it is and Von should be able to clear it up.
Will look through his iso back there .. because I remember little from that game outside of cron and myself shooting wolves left and right d1 and then joining up with the neutral team to win n2.

 

I don't get why people townread that and not what he did in the first 6 pages of the game. I don't actually think any of that was town from him and I think it's harmful to townread it. Expressing your emotions is good and if you're frustrated then you should try to resolve that frustration in an open way but I don't think it should be something that people look for to get reads or rally around as the reason why someone is town.

 

Yeah okay .. it is quinn .. unless there are two quinns from gtf that should be the same person.

I feel like I even talked about this with cobalt pregame, but my brain feels like cheese for the last couple of days.

I was slightly amused when I read his case on Eido and like 90% of the things he disliked was personality traits.

Like .. Eido not interacting in certain ways and coming across as arrogant.

It is something one can read him scummy for, but for Eido that is a nulltell for sure. esp with the people in this game.

 

Fun fact: I didn't read any of those posts as him being frustrated and I was actually surprised when Regfan made the comment about M+7 being frustrated!

So my read is not based on the frustration, but the actual content and flow of his thoughts.

This is a thing.

He made this post 15 minutes after his intial post.
So far whatever .. but I just found a thing in the other mash where Cobalt who knows Quinn attacked someone for pushing on Quinn somewhat early because :

"Leave Quinn alone he needs time to get reads"

(Context : Cobalt, Quinn and myself were all town that game)

This does not fit well with him making the above quote as his 2nd post 15 minutes into the game.
I would like @Vaimes to comment on this if he finds the time.


Other than that he is mostly talking to people he knows already and making throw away fun/fluff comments at least for d1.

mp7 was kind of annoyed by people giving eido basically a day 1 pass and went through his iso and talked about the things he didn't like in it.

You will stumble over it when you are catching up. Happened around midnight last night, I think +/- 2 hours.
