This is neither here nor there and not exactly game-relevant, so I'll try to keep it brief, but that's simply not how I play.

The very last person I'd want to talk to about my scumread on a person is that actual person. The person you're scumreading has a vested interest in convincing you they're a villager. If I literally got a fact wrong - like, you said X and I thought you said Y, sure, yeah, correct me. But reads are 99.999% a matter of extrapolation, narrative, context, etc. All stuff that's subjective, perspective, nuance, all that shit.

I have no interest in arguing with someone about my scumread on them or even engaging with them about it because a) I'm not going to get you to admit you have a wolf role PM and you're not going to vote for yourself, b), in that hypothetical conversation everything you'd do would be with an agenda of getting yourself townread, and that's not alignment indicative so it's useless to me, and c) I personally have a harder time getting a read on someone who's directly addressing me; I find it easier to watch what people do and say to others, or the work they do on a broad level addressed to the game at large, and make reads based on that. Maybe that's just a personality quirk, but I'm not going to handicap myself just because some people feel like they deserve a shot at directly rebutting cases on them.

Anyway, if you're a villager, go do villagery things and I'll pick up on it soon enough.

Could start by diving into some of your villager reads; I can understand leaning a bit on gutreads early D1, but there's a significant amount of actual game content on there, at this point those gut reads should either be buttressed with real things, or being called into question by real things.

 

Pretty sure it is a small dinner issue and gone in a short while.
Gonna pop in a movie and see where it leads me.
