Sorry dude, not my intention at all; wasn't something I wanted to bring up at all since it's not a case of "I think your play there means you have to both be scum together!" or that you have to be scum at all for it. But with Gemma thinking and playing with you two as not aligned and me thinking there's things that makes sense as a world of you two being so is fairly important to mention it.

If you're town here, just posts reads/thoughts; you seem to be fairly up to date/following along so would like to hear them a lot.

 

If anyone is bored, I'd love commentary on the fact that Miner and Kai have only received one real vote apiece.

 

I think you're trying to imitate what you did last game with Newcomb and I think it's very silly and I thumb Newcomb's vote on you.

 

This is actually not super surprising IMO.

People who've played with Kai before know that voting / pressure isn't going to get him to do things, and also that him not doing things isn't exactly alignment indicative. (Though I do agree with whoever had that meta take that him caring literally zero about the game is probably a smidge of a wolf thing.)

Miner isn't actually being wolfread by that large a % of the game.

 

To be clear, I'm looking at it from a "what are the wolves doing with respect to these two slots" angle. Though I think there's a decent chunk of people in this game who haven't played with Kai.

 

How is that question supposed to help you figure out Kai and Miner's alignments when the answer to it radically depends on Kai and Miner's alignments?

If it helps, I usually apply this kind of read to people who don't get voted despite circumstances saying they should be a useful target for mafia. (I don't think this is the case here, but the concrete example might be clearer.)

I'm sort of struggling to articulate this but that's not really the angle I'm looking at it from.
