I liked these posts a lot. I think I talked about it before, but it's a combination of tone, carefree attitude, and snark/roughness he's taking with what I'd consider pretty strong players. Back in the day I played a game where we were both scum together and I feel like I got a good sense of his scum!playstyle through the experience. I just cannot jive this stuff with that style at all. I concede that he could have dramatically developed in terms of changing his style in the # of games I've missed he's played, but I don't think it's likely.

If I had to make a bet on a style of scum-team, I'm leaning towards a collapsing one with low motivation and the players beginning to cave. Especially if one of them is fenwicked as this must be super demoralizing then.

Will be around for a bit longer then heading to bed, fyi will be V/LA tomorrow. May get a bit of time in the afternoon, and then may check in once like 3-4 hours before deadline for like 5 minutes max, but just saying right now don't expect more than 5 minutes from me closer to D1 end (major RL stuff going on and this can majorly distract from it)

 

Um, why does it matter if the role is provable, rather than just that it's unclaimable?

 

Oh, I didn't really bother with the rest of it, I was just bothered by the expectation that you'd read the game or recall anything from it because of your staff status.

If my opinion counts for anything, as of now I would prefer not to lynch a bear (for the mostly selfish reason that I think I get to a better read with more time).

Are you asking me why the role has to be provable rather than some random unprovable thing? Because if the slot claimed something unprovable, I'd still kill them.

In my mind one of the three main reasons why a fen lynch is very bad is because if he has a role and is town, then he can't claim it, and we lynch it stupidly.

 

I was hoping for more comparison words, but actually I kinda get the gist of it, so never mind.
