I'm looking for a fic where Harry is at Durmstrang. I'd prefer over 150k words, or a WIP. And sorry to shoot you down, but I've already read Harry Potter and the Boy Who Lived by the Santi as well as that one about Harry, Draco, and Krum.being the same age. I'd also be ok with a Harry at Beauxbaton.
I'd prefer no slashed.

There's the Magnate by Halt in our very own Wba, I must admit I've only read the beginning so that may well be the second you've referenced.

Not Durmstrang but:
Blood crest, in the library/for review, has an apprenticeship although it looks like it will head to hogwarts after that.

The Alexandra Quick series doesn't feature Harry but it does feature a look at an American magical education system.

The raven of drumstrang is another fiction where harry is a drumstrang student but it's set when harry comes to hogwarts as a drumstrang delegate to participate in triwizard tournament

 

It's Hadrian Black and he has shoulder length hair. It's as awesome as it sounds.

Harry Dursley and the Chronicles of the King is decent (in spite of the name) and features Durmstrang in year three.
