Here is the day 1 countdown timer: https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/launch?iso=20180712T01&p0=179&font=cursive

Day 2 ends when the timer reaches 5 days, which is ~28.5 hours from now.
    (N1 = 24 hours, D2 = 96 hours.)

Don't post all at once, living players in the game.

@Cobalt a few players might need pings

    @Citrus
Heh, I was just about to respond to the first one. Yeah, I agree on NH probably not having a scummate as his only real read throughout Day 1.

For the second, I uh, kind of disagree? Mostly for the thing you noted, Beruru and NH voting side by side. I think NH would have probably felt p exposed after he already defended Beru on D1, especially with Beru starting off by saying they wouldn't be around to defend themself for much of Today. It's /possible/ that Beru told NH voting next to them would be read as unaligned, but Beru's been so disconnected that that seems unlikely. I've also been nursing a different scumteam theory that doesn't work with scum!NH.

Empoof, two questions when you get back.

    1. What does the second part of that sentence mean?

    2. Why do you want to iso NH "specifically for Kai interactions?"

I'm back online, not really sure I'm awake but if people who like having people in the thread want people...I am people. Probably.

@fontisian expand on this response to jan, please?
    --- Post automerged ---
I won't presume to know even a fraction of what goes on between you two in these games but from the content within the thread up until that point Jan's previous read on you of lacking any sort of hype or spark seems ~entirely on point. That response is ridiculous.
    --- Post automerged ---
This complicates things quite a lot trying to assess whether your response was appropriate from jan's pov. It seems like it sort of was?

But from a neutral observer it's another thing entirely.
    --- Post automerged ---
I think I just opened a can of worms that I want no business with any longer tbh. Can I just nope nope nope the fuck back on those last 3 posts?
    --- Post automerged ---
Beru should probably post or burn tomorrow from what I've seen (or more importantly, haven't) so far.

I don't like this progression from Regfan.

I found the first post interesting because he's basically saying that the reasons I gave earlier for townreading tsaiah (lighthearted, relaxed, flowy) are unreliable.

Fonti responds with a multiquote analysis of tsaiah that leads to the second Regfan post where his read appears to significantly change and that's... usually not how regfan operates IME in terms of like... how easily he appears to change his read.

When the two of us read the same game, at least of video mafia, and I read a player radically different than he does / use a different basis for what I find AI he's very reluctant to see or adopt my POV. It depends a bit on the person and my confidence level, but I feel like there's almost always a heavy dose of skepticism and this unspoken :fry: stare and repeated poking to make sure I'm sure about the read.

Here, it seems like Reg adopted the read far too easily and just entirely differently than he does as a villager (or at least as a neutral observer). Fonti did a fine job explaining the read with the color coded highlights but I just don't think that would have registered so strongly with town!regfan and it seemed like a fairly abbreviated interaction (At least compared with my expectations. Feel free to correct me if you think I am being unfair).

    Subsequent readslist for posterity's sake:

One of the better posts from D1. Welcome to my town!
    --- Post automerged ---
Okay I'm not so sure the village drunk is the best source of vindication for my reads but Gemma fucking gets it exactly right here.

Like holy shit, I wish she expanded on the tsaiah townread more than the nego one just to see if there was a similar meta basis or it was just some gut feel but this feels like a promising mindmeld and want some other opinions on this, please.

No, I'm ignoring the top 3 there, not reading them super town. They're just vaguely sorted among themselves, but left apart because they're like a package deal, and at the top because they weren't people I'd lynch yesterday.

Having trouble with this as a real thought.

Like, beruru thinks villager!Stanari has a wolfread early D1 on beruru and goes, "meh, go fuck your charts, you're a lock wolf." Really? Beruru thinks Stanari thinks that? Reeeeeeally?

I tried to explain it to Eido but I just don't know why wolf Beru doesn't make a confident push on almost any other person. It'd avoid even engaging with this longstanding game.

Enjoyed the first ~10 pages of the game. Apologize that prior commitments + heavy work load haven't allowed me to play this as much as I would have liked (basically why I didn't sign up initially with all of you lovely people).

I will be at work all day tomorrow, getting home at 10pm when I basically eat and just pass the fuck out. Not sure I will have a chance to do much more but will try to place a relevant vote with a bit of phone skimming...? =/

Sweetness with the first one, and "fair enough" with the pretty exposed point although I'ma simmer on it some more/see if anyone else has a differing sanity check on it

Oh, I thought they were your lock-town reads from how high they were. Well that makes a ton more sense

I can already tell D2 end will be a blast akin to D1 end

Ok but if your definition of "digging deeper" includes "figuring out who empoof replaced" we're gonna have some issues.

Nego I super don't want to come off as like, all in your face or anything, I'm trying to give you the space you need to do what you need to do, but I'd really really appreciate it if you dropped the "whatever just lynch me" thing. If you're a wolf, it's tacky, and if you're a villager you need to realize that if we go into D3 having just killed a villager who asked to be killed we're going to be down 4 villagers for nothing and have no forward momentum / new info to go on. It's not impossible to pull the game back from that, but considering the fact that there have already been three replacements, we're already fighting an uphill battle.

If you're a villager, and you think Empoof is a villager, and you think beruru is a villager, and you're correct on all those things, then unless the team is like, exactly NH/Kai/Citrus/Jarizok we're in a pretty bad spot.

So do whatever you need to do, but talk to me about worlds where those 3 people are villagers and what we need to be doing in the next 24 hours to lynch a wolf here.

Yeah I think you had the right assumption in the 'is it that it's pointless because it never goes anywhere?' line of that post. At least that's where I think he's coming from. Though I tend to disagree - and think Voxx should, himself, before it gets used against him, for the reasoning I mentioned - it throws him off his game tbh, as he acknowledged on the page I just read:

Just want to repost this because I feel like it's very relevant to the last 24 hours of posting. I wanted to try and shake things up a bit but didn't have as much of a chance to as I would have liked. But this game feels really cozy and content with that fact, considering the low activity (relatively speaking). And after the mislynch d1 I don't think any collective scum team could possibly feel out of contention right now.

If you find yourself outside of the club, fight. I will be listening, at least. TIA.
