Amusingly, I had the game down to 1 of [Jan/Vaimes] & 1 of [NH/Kai] with the outside exception of it being a NH/Kai world and I was going to go Vamies>Jan and NH>Kai. So lolworldbuildinggotmeclose but couldn't pick right.

That's not arrogance, that's reading threadflow and knowing the players in the game and knowing how they read me. The fact that you're reading it as arrogance when the entire reason I'm this townread is that my wolf game is a dumpster fire is frankly bizarre. There's no joy or anything to be proud of in being as meta cleared as I am, but it doesn't change the fact that I was.

My critique of your play this phase comes from the fact that your attitude is coming across as smug and condescending. Maybe it's coming out like that because you've got that juicy redcheck and you had a fun chat with fonti and you're just so excited to let it all hang loose, but you're not coming across well, at least not to me. Go ISO yourself this phase, from the perspective of a VT who doesn't have that chat, or that redcheck, or even know that they're real, and see how many times you talk down to people - "children", "going in circles," "I'm tsking at you right now" etc etc etc etc. Maybe that's 100% how you meant to come across, in which case, I don't really have anything else to say to you and this is a waste of time, but if it's not and you meant to come off a different way: swing and a fucking miss, at least from where I'm sitting.

Like, I legit feel bad for Kai here. I'm a villager and I kinda wanted to strangle you, I can't imagine how tilting it would be as a wolf.
