Why does a roleblocker target NH?

If NH was roleblocked as the vig last night, we would probably be having a different conversation.

Not hedging against an Empoof shot in a world where they are probably going to try to push Reg is, uh, interesting. Although it probably outs Empoof anyway so maybe they put all their eggs in the other basket.

It's possible from my play yesterday scum thought I knew too much, given no investigative role had turned up yet. It gets me into a game with Empoof where it's what I could possibly know, mechanically, vs. a wolf, and I guess I don't die in that world in the case that it outs a wolf.

Like, I'd have to create enough of a fear that role copping me just to see what I am would be too slow, and I'm not sure I accomplished that.

 

Beats me also. All I could think of is they didn't want to kill you as you were a potential mislynch so they role blocked you instead in the event you were a PR. I was pretty confused initially with my results from last night

I think as of night start you were their best mislynch actually. Could've been a fear role block to ensure you couldn't come into day with a claim to be cleared from? Also makes you look worse when you claim if you are a PR - "guys I swear I'm investigative/etc but I was blocked!" Helps that you only know you were blocked if you did something, meaning if you're vanilla no harm no foul

Not going to vote, dunno what we're at, but dLGN's explosion very much feels like a 'caught for the wrong reasons' type thing here, on top of the track to Smiles - he knew he didn't target Fonti, but also knew Citrus was town, and that frustration spilled over, because a 'stupid' FPS correctly identified a wolf, etc.

If he flips roleblocker or something, it obviously clears Smiles, if he flips mafia doctor, game is over.

Vig almost 100% has another shot in a 17er, 2-shot vig is definitely what setup would indicate.

I'd probably just vig Kai if dLGN flips roleblocker, or vig Smiles if he flips something that'd want to target a partner, and we go from there if game doesn't end.

Eido, I think seeing a shot N2 and not N1 tells me even-night vig.

It's not impossible to have a full vig in a 17er but the night actions don't make that compelling.

Also if I got wifom-docced or something I'll be pissed but try to do as much as I can.

Citrus, I think you're right and I think they'd always rather have a claim fight with me than at worst accidentally out someone with my death.

 

Even night vig could make sense, but given we struggled to get a lynch on d1 because people were afk, I just assumed they holstered, as if we weren't going to lynch them, why would we vig them?

I guess we'll find out!

 

Actually, in the scenario where mafia used something good on me that probably means the POE is correct. Even without consecutive targeting, any deep wolf means there are 2 targets on your own team for good stuff last night.

Like it'd be such a waste to have to do this to get a lynch off on me of all people.
