It already looks fucked.

I’m just amazed at the incompetence from DC at all levels.

Comics, Movies, and now tv. (Flash/arrow are the CW’s imo.)

Shoulda just given this to the Cw.

 

I agree, but CW is bad for different reasons.

Eh. That trailer gave off an edgy teen drama vibe, which isn't exactly outside CW's wheelhouse. Aside from a PG-13 rating and possibly a lower budget, no guarantees that CW would do things different/better. Plus, CW's already juggling five DC shows with uh, varied results. They don't need a sixth.

Here's hoping Young Justice S3 is good, at least.

They're doing a new Star Trek series. Post DS9, post Voyager, with Patrick Stewart as an older Picard.

Fucking finally. Methinks Discovery is going to get shitcanned after the 2nd season.

 

I stopped watching discovery after the mid season break, did it get better at all? Ie, is it worth catching up on?

 

The last couple eps are fairly interesting.

It's really difficult to write a bad Terran Empire arc. Evil doppelgangers are always full of win.

Also the last ep sets up for Christopher Pike's Enterprise with young Spock in season 2.

On the whole though, it's pretty shit.

 

Be careful what you wish for as I'm sure they'll find a way to ruin it in some fashion.

 

Nope. Sorry. I've been waiting 16 years for post-Nemesis content. There is no derailing my hype train.

 

Cloak and Dagger looks good, though I've not started on it. Any thoughts from anyone who've already tried it?

 

It takes a few episodes to get into it, because it tries hard to establish the characters and their circumstances, but I think once you've become invested in them it's a good time.

 

Yeah, it's pretty watchable.

That said, having spent the first 10 years of my childhood in New Orleans, it realllllllly fucking bothers me that there is only like one character in this entire show that has even the slightest hint of Louisianna accent.
